The business advertises vehicles with different kilometer readings on different platforms such as Auto Trader, Car finder etc., using Goldennn Autos. We enquired about a 2023 Renault Kwid that was going for R105 000 with 26 000km. The sales lady, Nhlamulo, attended to the request and told us the vehicle is R99 000 and was available for delivery at R3 000. Money for delivery (R3 000) was deposited into an account reflecting Innos Motors which they claim they are trading under (on Sunday 15 March 2026). She stated that all paperwork was ready. On Monday, 16 March 2026, the delivery money cleared in the even and plans to deliver the car the following day were arranged. On the morning of 17 March 2026, the sales lady said she is leaving JHB at 10:00 for Polokwane for delivery. At 13:13, she texted me another pic of the car with the same vehicle and stated she had made a mistake and the milage is R56 000. Surprisingly when I clicked on the link, the milage showed 75 000km. The above mentioned Renault has different prices on different platforms. She was also sensitised that the car should be taken to SAPS to check the clearance before 16:00. Around 13:41, she video called and said she is off ramping in Polokwane and is nearly there , but only deliberately arrived for our meet up at 17:00. Upon meet up at Mall of the North, during our meeting I explained the following to her and why we would not continue with the purchase of the vehicle: Change of milage information, Change of vehicle's year model from 2023 to 2021, misinformation and deliberate arrival after 16:00. When asked if she was gona assist with the SAPS clearance and change of ownership she blatantly she was never going to attempt to assist in that regard. She became very rude and her friend that she was travelling with also rudely joined the arguement. When I asked since the vehicle states that it is still under ABSA, I requested they show me they settlement amount since they said the vehicle was repossessed but all I was shown was the details of the previous owner and ABSA. I asked them how can I verify that document and they became agitated. The arguement became so loud until I told her that she will not raise her voice on me when the deal was false from the word go. She accused me of making them drive all the way from JHB for nothing. See it's simple, I will not be cohe****d into a purchase of a vehicle especially realising there is something off with the deal. At least she kept my R3 000 and it will cover their costs back home. Next time be professional guys. For more info, I have evidence in the form of screenshots from WhatsApp. Furthermore, it would be advisable to verify the address for Goldennn Motors on the afore-mentioned platforms as advertised or the company update their info in this regard.
