During this fight against Corona Virus

‪I wonder what will happen during this lock down for the community of block 8&9 in White City Jabavu in Soweto. The counselor Sabata approved a tender without the community’s knowledge to install prepaid and the community is without electricity for over a month now.‬ There are senior citizens in that area like one of the Granny Mmina who is 101. The community ended accepting the prepaid and was promised they will be installed yesterday but nothing is done. The sub projectors came last week and said the street boxes have no power and it was switched from Eskom. Now is loadshading is a national crisis. Why should they switch off electricity for the people for over a month. I just wonder how people will stay indoors in this weather without electricity.The old ladies of that area went to Luthuli house to report this as they are paying the electricity. They were told to speak to the counselor who is dogging them. the counselor is also from White City Jabavu but there is no cut off from where he grew up. It looks like there are targeted areas for this. I guess some citizens are not important.
