Great doctor but the manager in charge has no way of speaking to patients the most arrogant and rude individual I've ever seen being a regular patient at the practice really makes me want to go to another practice because of the manager being so unprofessional and arrogant no way of speaking to clients or patients this guy needs to be removed from the practice his giving the practice a really bad reputation and that's certainly not good for business

I took my granny to the doctor and the doctor is a very good doctor and he assisted us very well but it's very disgusting that the one Receptionist was smoking (vaping) while we were standing in the front and she was quite rude towards us and it was a rather terrible experience simply due to this

Dr G S Rugnath is a great doctor. Very patient and professional. However, it is greatly disappointing that he has extremely rude and disrespectful receptionists. I visited him for the first time recently and was appalled by how dismissive and hostile the receptionists were. Especially considering that they are dealing with sick patients and have no care or sympathy when they speak. They cant answer simple questions and always respond with sheer disregard. They made my first visit experience horrible and I dont think I'd want to go there again.

Dr G S Rugnath is a great doctor. Very patient and professional. However, it is greatly disappointing that he has extremely rude and disrespectful receptionists. Pathetic Service from staff and the Dr made us follow the queue not once came out to assist my mum even though the receptionist was told she was unconscious before she was brought in and is currently hallucinating. Upon asking the receptionist the question, if she could tell the doctor my mum wasn't well at all, she said the doctor is aware and is moving fast. My mom's condition started getting worse after waiting for almost an hour, the receptionist went in told the doctor we fussing outside and the doctor instructed he can't see her talk her to the hospital. The receptionist mentioned the fees is R450 and if he sees her nothing much will be done he will stabilize her and that's it. Whilst being overwhelmed over the way the receptionist behaved yet I explained to her exactly what we was there she basically laughed at us and said we are uneducated hence this just made my entire family frustrated, she and the Dr is in the wrong field sad to say they mad a laughing stock of my mum who is now admitted in hospital in a diabetic coma. My mother is in this state because of the lack of communication between you and you wonderful receptionist. The pathetic and one star option is basically an understatement to put up. I guess it's only about the money for you and your staff.

Most useless doctor. He's been my doctor ever since I have joined the medical aid. He never will refer you you to a specialist. He says Discovery Key Plus Wong allow it or pay for it and he can't motivate it. Took my son twice to him this past 2 weeks. My son is still sick. He refused to give me authorization to see a pediatrician. He says we have to monitor him for 3 months. I asked him what If my son must suffer for 3 months. He says he won't suffer. I took my son to Mt Edgecombe casualty to get My son treated because he was of no help. Finally due to the good doctors at the hospital I got to see the pediatrician and got the Authorization from medical aid. Please don't go to him. Unless you have alot of money to run around and have all the time

Pathetic service and the worst part is that you cannot complain to the Doctor as he will charge you a consultation fee if you want to see him to complain. I had visited the practice during the later part of December 2019 and paid cash. After paying I was advised that I cannot get an invoice / statement now as it takes 3 working days. The lady who does the statements said I should come back after 3 days, I had then asked her to email it to me. More than a week goes by and then i receive my statement but the lady had got the ICD codes wrong on the statement. I then call in for them to rectify but i was then told that the lady who does the statements is not there and i must call in tomorrow. I then ask to speak to the doctor to resolve however I was advised that Doctor does not take personal calls. After me telling them that this is not a personal call, they then advised that doctor does not speak to patients on the phone. After numerous calls, I eventually get a statement from this practice (which I am hoping is now correct). This is the first time I have heard of a place that do not give you a statement / invoice immediately, this is my right to get a statement / invoice for services which I have paid for. After me emailing Doctor to complain, he still does not respond.

I just accompanied my spouse to the doctors surgery. I had to take the day of from work and booked family responsibilty leave as he is really unwell so I called the surgery earlier and made an appointment to see the doctor, I also asked the lady that picked up the phone if I could have some sort of proof confirming that I accompanied my spouse as it would be required by the company I work for and she agreed. She said that they could give me a copy of his sick note and would mention that he was accompanied by me. Upon arrival at the surgery, I noticed that there were about 4 receptionists and my spouse was seen to by the doctor, while the doctor was writing a note to confirm that I was with my spouse, he received a call from one of his receptionists stating that he could not give the note to me but could not explain the reason behind this. The doctor suggested I speak to the ladies in front which I did, but they still refused to give me proof confirming that I was there. The only explanation I got was that "it's against the rules" , when I began asking questions they ignored me and when I asked to speak to the doctor again, one of the ladies, locked the door leading to the doctors room. I am absolutely disgusted by the their behaviour and had I known that they would not assist me, my spouse and I would of used a different establishment.
