Grabouw traffic department
The intersection on the N2 which gives traffic access to the peregrines farm stall is, not withstanding multiple near misses and numerous accidents remains to this day another accident waiting to happen. The main reason for the danger at the intersection is simple due to the negligent failure of the Grabouw traffic police: TO ENFORCE SPEED CONTROL as per the displayed traffic signs. This is by no means a new nor unreported problem. Numerous complaints have been filed with the Grabouw traffic authorities. No effective response has been forthcoming The solution is quite simple. Road construction teams use dynamic slow down lights for speed reduction. Surely the traffic department is capable to deploy such measures

Speed enforcement on the N2 specifically on the section abeam the Peregrine farm stall is pathetic. The speed limit of 85 Km/hr is clearly indicated on the Eastern flow of traffic. It is noticeable that the majority of vehicles including trucks and buses. Blatantly ignore the speed limit. This creates a repetitive problem for traffic endeavouring to cross the N2 There is NO indication of traffic officers taking heed of these speed violations notwithstanding numerous accidents on that section of road. This is again brought to the attention of Grabouw traffic department as it creates a hazardous ⚠️ situation
