Been receiving the worst service from them I made a booking on the 4th of September and paid deposit I had an emergency and had to cancel my booking according to their policy it was said that they will take 10% of the amount which is fine so I asked them to cancel and refund the rest of the money but the person who was busy assisting me which Deon insist that I postpone if not I will lose my money I keep on follow up with no help I wouldn’t advice anyone to book with them

What an unpleasant stay! This is definitely not a boutique hotel. The beds 😭 I had to request for a change of mattress. But still! I couldn’t sleep. The bad odour 😭 we requested that they change the mat because it had a very bad odour and very dirty, it was never changed and I insisted that they remove it. Everything was nonsense! The bathroom! Yoooooh. This is no go place. Do not waste your money on this, this is not a hotel.

What an unpleasant stay! This is definitely not a boutique hotel. The beds 😭 I had to request for a change of mattress. But still! I couldn’t sleep. We stayed in apartment 206, this room has the following things that was beyond acceptable : 1. No windows 2. Poor ventalation 3. The place had an odour 4. We could feel the springs of the beds 5. The lounge lights didn't work 6. The toilet extractor fan was useless 7. The place had so many ants out food always had to be thrown away 8. The place had broken furniture 9. The parking was appalling. 10. The small toilet was never cleaned 11. The pillows were unformfotable Don't think a 1 star is even good reflection

The worst service and most ****** service i’v had we booked eith my friends on my birthday but megan was the worst that cld ever happen on my b.day till this day i still fear weekend aways because of this place

If anyone is thinking of booking or has booked accommodation at Grande Kloof Boutique Hotel, 69 Kloof Road, Fresnaye, Cape Town, I would suggest you don’t book with them, or cancel your booking (provided you haven’t paid them a deposit). I have had such an unpleasant experience with them after cancelling my reservation with them for April 2023 booked on booking.com. When I made the booking back in September 2022, it was recommended that I pay a 50% deposit to secure my booking, which I did the very next day of R2,478.50. On 6 October 2022 I decided to cancel my booking on booking.com and was told that I will be refunded in the next 14 days. Needless to say, despite numerous follow ups with Stanley, the Manager at Grande Kloof, since 26 October and subsequently Elzaan (also a Manager) from 8 December, I am yet to receive my money which both have admitted, is due to me. Each time I call I am told that they have handed the request to the Owner, Allen Tavakoli to make payment. On 19 December I afforded Allen the opportunity to make right and transfer the money into my bank account by 12h00 today (23 December) or I would have no choice but to share my experience on social media and on platforms like TripAdvisor and the like, but he chose to not do the right thing. So, other than continuing to call them and chasing them for my money, I would like to discourage anyone from booking with them. Why would you want to support a business that does not do the professional and ethical thing?

This has to be the most ridiculous hotel i have ever been too, 1stly its expensive , and when we got there there was ****roach in our room wich is i reported and room was not changed , cause apparently it was full.2nd They told me about R500 fine on my depature wich is i thought was not fare as i was under the impression that this is a hotel , they told me my sheets have stained that cannot be removed , i specifically asked sheets to be changed everyday and they told me they only change sheets every... 3rd day like what hell is that? im a guest if i prefer fresh sheets daily why must it be any issue as we were there for only a weekend not long stay, i then offered to wash those sheets myself and try remove make-up stains i have never been to a hotel that charges for stains before, oh and the breakfast is made from old oil that smells really bad, The receptinist then went and spoke Shona infront of us with the cleaners wich i thought was rude as we did not understand what they were saying.

The place was dirty and smelly we checked out immediately. Still waiting to get a refund. Not sure how Vitality Travel and Booking.com can keep this place on their sites as a 4 star. Definitely one star. Photos must have been taken 10 years ago!
