Firstly, the employees at this LEGO store—both in their physical locations and online—are consistently unfriendly. However, there is a more serious issue that cannot be ignored. The website states that sale items cannot be returned. However, according to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), South African consumers are legally entitled to a cooling-off period. This means customers have the right to return goods purchased online within seven days of receiving them, regardless of the store’s internal policies. A company’s return policy cannot override this legal right. This kind of disregard for consumer law is unacceptable and needs to change. If LEGO does not amend its return policy to comply with the law, customers should consider lodging a complaint with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

I don't think they know what's going on in their own business. Got a voucher for them, which I was told can only be used online and not in-store... Which makes no sense. Tried their online store and made a purchase over a week ago. (PS They are more expensive than Takealot) I waited over 7 days for my order to be delivered when their system says it takes 2-5 days for delivery. After I put in my order number for tracking, it showed "No information" and when I called them they told me they never processed my order. So after 7 days of waiting, nothing happened and only once I called them did they process my order. They wouldn't let me collect in store and even after waiting already, they wouldn't expedite my shipping... meaning I had to now wait an additional 7 days before my order get's delivered. Having to wait 14 days for my order is just stupid, considering I live 30 minutes from their physical shop. Just stick with Takealot or Loot, you'd be much better off.

The shipping experience was great and the site and constant email updates kept me informed. The only thing stopping a 5-star review is because I sent an email to the support to query something and to date nobody has responded.

I am so impressed with great yellow brick! I ordered from them last night and it was delivered today before 5pm. The price of the set I bought was the same price as the Lego stores. Definitely recommend them!

Purchased some lego sets to the value of R5000 on the 9th March for it to be collected in store. After purchase was done, they than told me that one of the Lego sets were not in stock and will be delivered, so I requested/emailed the online team for a refund on the "same day". They responded quick, but all down hill from here. No réponse was received till now. I email everyday, but still no response! I have to contact the Sandton branch to assist me with the refund, but they unfortunately cannot do anything in this situation. We are 8 working days already and still no refund or response! I always try to support businesses directly instead through Takealot, but it's really pathetic to get such **** service like this. It's much easier to purchase your items through Takealot instead. It can be a little bit more expensive, but at least you have peace of mind! STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!
