Quality service and not quantity sales
WOW WOW Quality service and not quantity sales What a great company - Honest , transparent , friend and extremely professional. Words cant explain how grateful I am to this company. Usually buying a car can be stressful and bare a lot of uncer*****y since it is a second hand car with more than 200k kms on the clock The sales person Brice was so upfront and honest with his videos and pictures and I requested quite unique videos ect. He sent everything and then some with out even blinking an eye. I asked hard questions and normal questions - And I double checked him on the vin of the car and yet can you believe a truly honest secondhand dealership . Then to the FNI ( Finance person ) Dulande Burton Your kindness and honesty was extremely appreciated. Usually a FNI would try and upsell you on a lot of things that add to your installment and that is what effects your trade down the line She asked what my needs where, and she worked according to that. No upselling so typical sales nonsense. In a nut shell I signed the contract before I even saw the car - so much trust do I have in them and their abilities. Once I got there I took the car for a test drive. inspected a few things and singed the delivery note and we were off. This all happened in 30 mins. Car is really is great condition and nothing was **** about as my insurance also requested I should take the car for an inspection. The car is really all that what they said it was. TAKE YOUR BUYSINESS TO THEM - ASK FOR BRICE AND WORK WITH DULANDE This dealership is does not have the mentality of sales sales sales Their mentality is WHAT DO YOU NEED AND HOW CAN WE HELP YOU GET THAT To the owner WELL DONE

Defective vehicle and MOISA proved the dealer WRONG!!!!
purchased a vw jetta 5 2008 1.9TDI DSG comfortline from GDC in July 2021,car had full service history and looked well for its age and condition. in August a month after the purchase the tensioner pulley snapped off,i had it repaired and the vehicle serviced as i started to get worried what did i buy here. i approached GDC and told them about the breakdown, they simply said "you never know what mechanics are doing". 2 months after the service the turbo packed up on the freeway, OIL spilling out of the tailpipes like water,i had the vehicle towed to my house and approached GDC once again this time i made contact with the owner as well. he's response is as follows It is your responsibility as the driver to ensure that there is sufficient oil in the engine You acknowledge that you had a service done on the vehicle, perhaps you should ask the workshop involved about why there was so little oil in the engine. so i approached MOISA to assist. after 4 months i received confirmation from MOISA GDC should repair the vehicle at NO cost to me. unfortunately i could not wait another month or 2 or 3 to get a response from MOISA,so in january 2022 i took my vehicle to an RMI approved dealer which has done the service and repair of the tensioner pulley etc,the done an estimate(strip & quote)the turbo did break down and to repair was close to R24000. now with this said my partner had to resign,i nearly lost my job due to our transportation issue so i had to get the vehicle repaired ASAP,so whilst the vehicle was at the RMI approved dealer i authorized them to repair the vehicle so we can continue with our day to day lives before i lose my job as well. now that the vehicle has been repaired by my RMI approved dealer,MOISA retracts their recommendation for GDC to repair the vehicle and i remain with all the costs. i am glad i fixed the vehicle with someone i trust, to be honest i wouldn't have trusted GDC to repair my vehicle as the response i got from GDC after the complaint has been lodged " they dont care what they sell you" as long as they get their money. but i am glad i reached out to MOISA,they proved to the dealer they sold me a defective vehicle and was responsible to fix the damage caused. so i will NOT RECOMMEND GDC to any one!!!! even though i cant get my money i paid for the damage caused, at the end of the day i proved this dealer wrong!!!not someone to be trusted.

A genuinely nice, honest car salesman.
Wow, I actually hadn't seen the reviews before dealing with this company, but I am not at all surprised to read all these positive comments. My mom and I have just bought a car from Green Dot Cars and dealt with their salesman, Mujeeb. He was direct and honest about the car from the start, and he's made good on all that he offered. As my mom has been unwell and unable to collect the car herself, Mujeeb went the extra mile to arrange everything and deliver the car to her. A genuinely nice, honest guy. I would recommend Green Dot Cars and Mujeeb to anyone looking for a used car in Johannesburg.

Wow, I actually hadn't seen the reviews before dealing with this company, but I am not at all surprised to read all these positive comments. My mom and I have just bought a car from Green Dot Cars and dealt with their salesman, Mujeeb. He was direct and honest about the car from the start, and he's made good on all that he offered. As my mom has been unwell and unable to collect the car herself, Mujeeb went the extra mile to arrange everything and deliver the car to her. A genuinely nice, honest guy. I would recommend Green Dot Cars and Mujeeb to anyone looking for a used car in Johannesburg.

Green Dot Cars sold me a defective car
I am very disappointed with the terrible after service. We bought a Volvo XC60 end of December 2018. We did at the time receive a good service, we even referred all our family and friends resulting in 6 cars been bought from Green Dot Cars. 7 months later, the cars packs up and piston apparently cracks. As I bought the car and warrantee from Green Dot Cars, I contacted them to let them know. Not worrying too much, as I had peace of mind that I had the warrantee, I was advised by the mechanic, That I missed a service, now they won't pay. looking back, although i did sign, I was not advised properly about the service moving forward. A car does simply not break down. was advised that it was an engine defect. Green Dot Cars are offering no way of helping me in this situation. We feel let down and feel they have sold us a defective car.

Great service.
Honest, fair and price competitive. I dealt with salesman Mujeeb, called him after hours and arranged to view a car after hours as well and he made provision just for me. I highly recommend this dealership and Mujeeb. Will be buying another car in the future from these guys! 10/10

Great service.
