In October 2021 we bought a Solar flat pack from Greyton Electrical and after many phone calls it was only installed by them on 3rd March 2022. We were also informed to purchase the pump which regulates the water especially for the cold winter months. On the 4th March it was already giving an Error code, they came out to only find out that the pump had been installed the wrong way round, this caused our geyser to leak and on the 15 March they came back out to try and sort geyser leak out. This did not work and by the end of March the geyser burst and we had to replace the geyser at our cost. April 2022 they came had to come back out as the new geyser was also giving the same code that they how now been trying to rectify since installation. From then till July we kept in contact with them as system still kept giving Error codes. On the 15 August we notified them that now the flat pack is leaking, after call every day for 5 days and false promises that someone would come out everyday they arrived on the 19 August at 4:30pm. We were informed that flat pack had cracked from cold which was a shock to us as we had installed the pump to prevent this as per their instruction. Today the 31 August the flat pack is still sitting broken on our roof and not a word from them. We have had 76 Solar panels to run our farm installed so it is not like we moan about nothing. The service has been shocking and the feed back is non existent.

During May this year we had a Solar Inverter /System installed in our house. The initial contractor from Cape Town was a con artist and we sat with the equipment but not functional and couple of thousand rand later. Through Quality Applications Development cc, Wikus Coetzee from Kleinmond we got to Greyton Electrical Contractors cc. Wikus redesigned the whole system and Gideon Malherbe of Greyton Electrical Contractors installed the solar/inverter equipment correctly and got our system fully functional in 2 visits. We have a EAIASA Certificate. No ridiculous deposits required, in fact no deposit. We highly recommend both parties.
