I have two funeral policies with Feld Funeral Undertakers. I have been paying for these policies since 2020. For the past two months I have been receiving an sms to say that their debit order system is not operational and I should therefore deposit my premiums into an account which is different from the account number on my policies. I have therefore not made the deposits. I contacted a person from this organisation, whos number I received from the agent who sold the policies to me and was told that their debit order system would be back in operation in June 2025. However, I tried to contact the organisation directly today on its landline, which has an automated voice directing the caller to leave a message. I also sent an email to the email address on the policy, but this message bounced back. The facebook address also does not provide me with any way forward. I am concerned that my policies have lapsed and all monies paid to date is now lost.

We had the very unpleasant experience of losing two family members a week apart. The one noted to be cremated and the other one required a funeral. Not only was the collection of the bodies death with in a prompt and professional manner but the registrations of death, issuing of death certificates, handeling if procedure of cremation of one .e.ber and the preparation for preparation of the other relative for burial was all done in time, I. Vert effective and efficient manners. So all the development and printing of the burial notices was dote faultless in good time foe proofreading and printing in time radin for the funeral that was handled with no qualms or trepidation on a Sunday. The service of all staff was excellent but it would be unfair not not mention the diligent a d hard word of Mario . We as family value and Appreciate the work done. In a friendly, professional and caring manner. The family will utilise our services in the future and will definitely use you services again whe the time come. Don't ever user Grobelaars funeral services in Pretoria. My mom's service was held their, with a coffin in the little church. Pity it was EMPTY!! Actually invoice R9600 but yet the cremation happen the Tuesday, and 2 days later her service. So my question is, we paid for a coffin they can charge out because surely it's clear my mom can't use it or we can't get a credit. Does VOETSEK!! didn't even feel bad for lying while her family cries by the empty coffin!!

We received a death certificate from Grobbelaars in earlyDecember, that was issued incorrectly by Home Affairs. Grobbelaars promissed to have this rectified and would let us know when we could collect the certificate from them(Grobbelaars). We called numerous times and they kept on tellng us that they had not yet received the correct cerificate. They never phoned us regarding the certificate. They did however phone on 10.12.2021 to tell us that my mom, who passed away on 25.11.2021,was still in the mortuary and would only be cremated on the Monday 13.12.2021. (As if we wanted to know that she was still laying in the mortuary!) I phoned again today 30.03.2022 to enquire about the death certificate, only to be told that they do not get the certificates from Home Affairs and that the family must go to Home Affairs themselves to collect it. They did not know why they never told us this when we kept on phoning them or even why they did not phone us to tell us to go and get it ourselves. I asked how I could just go there and just ask for someone's death certificate and I was told that Home Affairs will take my fingerprint. I have no idea how they would determine that I am a familly member of a deceased person who has already been cremated. When I asked to speak the manager, needless to say he was not available. I asked to speak to the Director and needless to say, he was also not available. I was also told that they are forbidden to give contact details of the manager or the director. (Usually people who do not want to give their contact details or who are never available, are the ones getting too many complaints). I have also contacted other undertakers and they confirmed that they collect the death certificates on behalf of the family.
