After they said they replacing it they saying it is with their logistics company, the can't give me the tracking number and I must wait for a email. It's now 2 weeks no feedback, Vincent at Growatt is rubbing me around the bush. NATCORP is the logistics company aparently that deals with it. Don't ever buy a GROWATT toy will have issues for the rest of your life my number 0836510399.

The most useless inverter I have come across, I Haber had it 7 months and just broke for the 4th time, they just say bring it in, I am not the instaler. Read in they replaced a 5kva main board with a 3.5, went on again, got new main board, went well and just blew the main board again. It is a poor product and I have proof of the above. I will take this further.

Since 2021 I have been a supporter of Growatt. I had a Growatt SPF5000ES linked to Pylontech US3000c batteries. The solar system has worked well, until last week. Code 05, code 08, code 04. Now I am hoping someone at Growatt EU reads this review. I have purchased not only the SPF5000ES but the 5000es (to replace spf and allow further diagnostics) and the 6000es Pro. The 5000es has caused issues because coms won't communicate. After 50 calls, mails etc to Growatt, Pylontech , distributors.. no one so far seems to have a solution. Eventually today it transpires that perhaps the firmware is causing issues...firmware? So why is this not shown on distributors Web pages? Why do Growatt SA have a telephone number if no one answers? Why as the end user must a person run around for 48 hours trying to find a solution when CPA clearly states an OEM obligation in South African Market. Lastly, and I realise this is a public site, surely in this day and age South Africa has the required expertise....so why does no one know? I am led to believe that lithium batteries are explosive, that bad (I think it's called) coms instructions can result in damage and yet Growatt seems ok with this? They must be, at 9, 9h30, 10h30,11h01 messages were left for technical assistance. Wake up guys, the product can be good but if distributors and aftersales sucks then in reality what is the product actually worth? To close, today after another 23 calls I sit here with a non functioning system. Inverter 1 day old. Spf on its way fir complete assessment. 6000 series sitting in box as I am thinking that actually installing it may just cause problems...... so Growatt....where to from here? Should you be kind enough to attend to me as a client I have no issue updating this. However I will not hold my breath.

We moved in to our new house in Feb 2023 and it had a Growatt solar system installed. 3 x 5Kw inverters connected in parallel and the one inverter was already "faulting" and the seller explained how I should just switch everything off and then on again. Within a month the one popped after switching it off and on again. I was then running on 2 up until I recently decided to replace the broken Growatt inverter. Before I could get a quote, both inverters started faulting and one of them popped when I switched it off and back on again. Growatt has a 2 year warranty. The service I experienced was also awful. I have now gone with a Sunsynk system that, together with its batteries, gives me a 10 year warranty. I will never come anywhere near a Growatt inverter again. YMMV.

My Growatt inverter blew at the beginning of January, for the 4th time under warranty, and the same has happened to other people that I know personally. Upon reaching out to Growatt directly, they responded and stated that they would resolve the issue. Now, almost 3 month later, I am getting no feedback from the Growatt representatives. Multiple email request for updates have gone unanswered and and blatantly ignored.

I recently started my solar journey with enough money to buy a Growatt 3KW 48 Volt inverter (SPF3000TLHVM-48) with a 3.6kW Dyness battery. The units were installed and the battery would charge off mains. I then got more money and wanted to add 5 x 605Watt panels (3025 Watts) panels so my system could charge fully in an average day and lo and behold when I went to my supplier to buy the panels they told me that because of the Amperage being too high, I could only connect 2 of the 605 watt panels. So...I have a 3000 watt inverter, but I can only connect 1200 watts worth of panels??? Makes perfect sense, right? WRONG! So now I have 2 problems. 1. The 3KW GroWatt inverter has a fan on 24/7! Yip, the fan stays on, and is quite loud, ALL THE TIME. The other inverters, I was told after I bought the unit and complained to my supplier, are all silent and do NOT have the sound of a fan on constantly! 2. As I can only connect 1200 watts of panels, I am charging my battery at about 1/3 of the normal rate. IE, it will take 3 times longer to charge my 3KW battery that it should normally do. I would really love to hear from somebody at GroWatt as to the incredulous design approach they took! I have made the big investment for my home only to be awoken by these two very irritating issues. The solution to my problems, would be for Growatt to buy my inverter back from me at the price I had to pay for it (R9 999) so that I can go and buy a REAL product that does what the product is expected to do! I am waiting to see what Growatt's approach to me will be.....
