My mother, a GEPF member, passed away on 17 March 2025. On 26 April 2025 I submitted all the paperwork, as per required for her funeral benefit claim. Again on 07/04/2025, 11/04/2024, 15/04/2025 and 16/04/2025 i submitted and requested any acknowledgment of receipt or feedback, but no reply or delivery from GEPF. I have called the call centre number, 0800 117669 more than 20 times but the number is faulty. There are NO ALTERNATIVE number to call. Unfortunately I cannot go into GEPF myself. I am highly disappointed as my mother has passed on today a month exactly and I am cannot finalize her arrangements due to GEPF. I am disgusted by the service or lack thereof I am receiving. I cant even enter a business email below for Hello Peter as they will not reply. I have tried 5 different GEPF emails, as per their website, but to no avail.

I app**** for my two pot savings on the 04th of September 2024 and havent recieved any money or any communication frm them. When you call the call center agents knows litlle or nothing about whats happening with my application, I have been writing emails and Dm's on socials with no response frm them. Call center agents are becoming impatient telling me my 60 working days havent passed so I must relax but howdo I relax when peopleare getting paid within two weeks or a week after applying while I waited for 60 days as the app stipulated when I app****but now tht I reached the sixty days Im toldabout 60 working days. Yesterday they said they cant verify my Bidvest account but how come there was someone paid in bidvest bank and he app**** only late October.

The GEPF is one of the worst pension funds administrators out there. Their service is utterly terrible, the two pot system was meant to provide relief to the government employees but how can it do so, if members are left in the dark as to when will their payments be processed. I submitted my claim on the 4th of September 24 and to this day my claim has not been paid, I tried to call their toll free and the head office contact number, it is not answered, system challenges are cited as the problem, surely they should have anticipated that their system will have glitches and put in place interventions to quickly address such. It is painful to plan on funds that you don't even know when they will be processed, it is a nightmare 💔. I have logged on countless times in an attempt to to track my submission and requested that they call me, but that never happened. Something has to be done to improve their service because from where I am standing, I am not impressed at all and I know there's plenty others out there who share the same sentiments. If they are not managing at this they should contracted a service provider to assist them because this is just unacceptable.

I app**** my 2 pots in 12 September, the people that I app**** with got the money 2 weeks ago but I'm not receiving the money. I called SARS and they told me that they received and finalized the Directives on 08 October. Even people who app**** on October are getting the money. I'm stressed and confused because GEPF are not taking the calls and I need clarity.

Good morning If apply on the 6 of may 2024 for My Money There is no response no sms nothing I was the on the 1st of August as well the said Everything is fine with the application I must just wait is 4months already with no feedback what must I do if I call the phones is just ringing
