I want to warn people not to subscribe to Big and Little crochet. They have been debiting my account for the last 3 months,but have only received 1 parcel( issue 1). They don't supply tracking numbers either. Contacting them doesnt help. I have phoned and emailed to get a refund,but nothing is done about this matter. They lure new subscribers by offering free gifts,but then nothing gets delivered. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY.

Worst service ever. Only received one parcel in November since subscribing,but they have taken R459.30 from my account via debit order. I always get the same response - to check the post office. Bit difficult if they dont provide tracking numbers!!! I have cancelled my subscription and demanded a refund. Wonder how many other people are in the same boat.

I recently noticed a double debit of the debit order I have for a course I signed up for. A previous double debit was explained away as part of the agreement for an ANNUAL double debit to cover 4 weekly packages, as this was done in September 2017 it would stand to reason that a recurring double debit would be taken in September 2018. This however was debited at the end of June, 9 months after the ANNUAL agreement. I've had other payment discrepancies as well whereupon I gave up after not getting feedback from Hatchette. I am now fed up with being ignored and no reasonable feedback being forthcoming.

We get charged for parcels that don't get delivered. When you phone, then there is always an excuse. In June I was billed double, but did not receive the parcels. I phone Hachette on 17 July to find out why I was billed double, but have not received any parcels. The consultant I spoke to told me that there were two parcels dispatched on 26 June and that I should give it until the end of the week (20 July) to receive my parcels. I have still not received them. I just called them again and spoke to Mick/Nick (not sure). He tells me that another parcel has been dispatched, but that I must be patient because the post-office is on strike. When I question this, he tells me to go to the post office with my membership number and try and find out where my parcel is. I told him that since there was no "tracking number" there would be no way for the post office to track my parcel. Yet he still insists that I go to the post office and try and find my parcels or that I should wait until 15 August to receive my parcels. I find it strange that Hatchette's parcels don't get delivered, but all the other mail comes through just fine. So, where is the problem? Is Hatchette just incompetent? Are they just trying to get money for products they are not delivering? Or is the post office on strike? It just seems to me that it is always easier to blame the post office being on strike than try and find out where the real problem lies.

Terrible service! I have eventually completed a collection with them and NEVER AGAIN! Missing issues, months of waiting, non-existent customer service (no response to emails or call backs) and they continually change delivery methods Rather collect your copies from your local newsagent

<p>I had requested cancellation of the draw the marvel way,i clearly stated that I dont want the subscription as they kept lying to me about when its going to be delivered. on Saturday I received issue 4 and 5 of the draw the marvel way.i was also debited for the books which I clearly said I dont want.i spoke to a lady at the call centre to arrange my refund which she said will be done in 14 days.i also requested collection of the parcel I have here and I was told I have to carry the cost of sending the parcel back and there is nothing they can do about it.if they dont arrange a pickup for this parcel I will throw it in the bin cos im not going to use my money to return something I cancelled. if this **** is not sorted out by Friday this week im going to get my lawyer involved. this is pathetic service from a so called professional organisation </p>

Not only do they contradict their entire terms and conditions, they deduct your money before you even receive anything, then they lie about couriers arriving and I wasn't at WORK to sign for my parcel. I then call and tell them to cancel the subscription and refund me, and they tell me there is a 28 waiting period. So its been 28 days, I ask them again to refund me, and they say they have the record of the money and I MUST CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GIVE MY BANKING DETAILS!!!! SO I do, even though they have all my information and the most illiterate person they could hire, after giving me lip, tells me the request will be done in 14 DAYS!!! WHAT A LOUSY COMPANY AND SERVICE. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM THEM!

THEN SUDDENLY OVER R700 rand gets stolen from your account. I've asked what and why they took this amount off? with no response, so I put a stop order through so they couldn't do it again. <br> what a joke they are now sending me demanding letters for a small amount that they feel is outstanding????<br> wtf ?? take it off the money you stole???<br> they took the money a couple of months back I don't have the date here but they sure as hell will.
