CHM Haval Silverlakes Misdiagnosis and Poor Service
⚠️ Very disappointed with CHM Haval Silverlakes! I took my Haval in because the power steering stopped working and asked them to check the fuses first. They said it would take 2–3 hours, but it took 2 full days — and then they quoted me R17,500 for parts and labour. I didn’t accept the quote and went to a private mechanic — they found a blown fuse on the battery, replaced it for R150, and the steering was perfect! When I collected my car from CHM Haval, my windscreen (only 2 months old) had a crack. I called and spoke to several people, including management — no one has taken responsibility or even followed up. Feels like they tried to take me for a ride. Be careful where you take your car!
