Henmak and Hoselect batteries
I was supplied 8x 200 Ah Hoselect batteries which were purchased from Henmak in June last year. these were installed on my inverter and everything seemed to be working well until load shedding started again in September - only 3 months later!! Already after only 3 months the batteries were not holding charge. I tried for a month to get the installer to come and test the system which he promised to do and still has not done, so I took the batteries to an independent company to test them. Not 1 of the 8 batteries was still in any reasonable condition. I have now contacted Henmak to honour a warranty and replace these or refund me which they are not willing to do. BE WARNED not to have any dealings with this company

PV Solar supplier and Installers
Henmak Solar supplied and delivered pv solar equipment to my property. The installer by the name of LT Solar was incompetent and it resulted in a loss for myself to an amount of nearly R14 000. The installer damaged the inverter and conspired with the supplier that i fiddled with the inveryer. Sunsynk SA issued a report to indicate that the damages were due to faulty installation and that the installation in general does not comply with industry standards. Be Aware!

I just lost R27k. In Jan I installed 4 off Hoselect 200A x 12V Gel batteries in a solar installation purchased from Henmak Solar in Ontdekkers Rd. In April I added 4 more. In June 2 units failed. Henmak replaced these at the end of August. Late October ANOTHER 2 units failed - that is a FIFTY PERCENT FAILURE RATE in 10mths. Now Henmak are wiping their tail of the matter. It seems Estone Suppliers are the importers. He tells me he advised Henmak that these are "Cheap Chinese Batteries" and there is no Warranty. This fact is conveniently not advised to potential Customers. Be aware - do research and shop wisely
