Outstanding Quality and Truly Reassuring Service
We recently purchased a Henwood Mattress, headboard, and linen after our household goods were damaged during an international move, and we needed a replacement urgently. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and reassuring. The mattress was delivered promptly, and the overall handling of our order gave us real peace of mind during what was otherwise a stressful time. Most importantly, after sleeping on the mattress, we can genuinely say the quality is outstanding. It is extremely comfortable, well-made, and clearly designed to a high standard. STAY AWAY from Henwood Beds
We bought a Henwood King Size bed in October 2023 for more than R 20k. Now, less than two years down the line the bed feels like a cheap over used bed. This is probably the WORST bed I have ever bought!!

STAY AWAY from Henwood Beds
We bought a Henwood King Size bed in October 2023 for more than R 20k. Now, less than two years down the line the bed feels like a cheap over used bed. This is probably the WORST bed I have ever bought!!

Henwood beds worst bed ever
Worst mistake of my life I wish I could say my experience has been positive, but it has been a nightmare. Around 2 weeks after we slept on the mattress, the bed started making dents where we slept. We thought we would give it some time, turning the mattress as they stated we should, but I kept getting pins and needles and the dents became so deep, I couldn’t move out of them or even turn around without waking up. It has gotten so bad that there is this big bulge in the middle of the mattress (so you can forget about cuddling) and it takes physical effort to get out of bed due to the dents. We have been fighting for over 2 months to get this bed returned, they have excuse after excuse and they actually tell us all this is “normal”… This R25 000 for a mattress only purchase was the worst mistake of my life. Imagine you can’t sleep because the bed made this deep crater and you can’t turn around? The bed shop springfield park durban , pumie the sales lady keeps telling me the mattress should not do this - but on email they keep telling me this is normal. I don’t know what to do anymore except write a review at 3am because I can’t sleep. Me and hubby waking up with aches and pains every morning, we even bought a matress topper worth R5000 to see if there will be a difference, I will not leave this matter here as R25 000 is not small money. The bed store send us a used and dirty matress before I have all proof !!!! Would never recommend.

Around 2 weeks after we slept on the mattress, the bed started making dents where we slept. We thought we would give it some time, turning the mattress as they stated we should, but I kept getting pins and needles and the dents became so deep, I couldn’t move out of them or even turn around without waking up. It has gotten so bad that there is this big bulge in the middle of the mattress (so you can forget about cuddling) and it takes physical effort to get out of bed due to the dents. We have been fighting for over 2 months to get this bed returned, they have excuse after excuse and they actually tell us all this is “normal”… The manufacturers told me in their report that I should not sit on my bed. I mean, really?? This R36 500 purchase was the worst mistake of my life. Imagine you can’t sleep because the bed made this deep crater and you can’t turn around? The photos I have attached is just a tip of the iceberg - what it looks like when you sit or lay on the mattress for a few minutes, then stand up and wait a minute or two. The mattress does not bounce back like the one in the shop. Bed King keeps telling me the mattress should not do this - but on email they keep telling me this is normal. I don’t know what to do anymore except write a review at 1am because I can’t sleep. Would never recommend.

Second time disappointment
Bought their top range queen size bed set. After a few months use, the brand new mattress got sunk in, Their aftersales team took the pics and proof then came back with a letter saying within 4cm deep it is normal and saying we have to turn the mattress manually every month! I’ve bought 2 single base sets from them hoping that the collapse will not accurse on them however the top of the base is covered with carton box, within a month full of dents, you can’t rotate the bed properly. Everything to be reported as normal after the re-inspection. Only 1 month use already became like this, what kind of brand and quality is this. Poor workmanship, quality and aftersales service! We will never trust, use or recommend this to anyone. Rather pay a bit more and get a quality bed set from a trusted company. At the end of the day what seems to be a cheaper buy is an expensive buy. Hope Henwood can introspect and pay high attention to the quality and customer service if they still want to be in the industry.

Don't waste your money on Henwood Bedding
Can't believe these people have any stars what so ever. 2x 9 months new mattresses. Expert said our imagination, sagging as well as top layer loose, factory says will repair at our cost. If expert is right what is factory going to repair? Last mattress discontinued as well. Please read your warranty - as far as we concerned it means NOTHING. We offered to fly CEO to JHB to spend the night on this bed. So far.. nothing .. Their ad states their family name means everything to them? As far as we are concerned, they are not helpful and there is not after sales service what so ever,
