I do not recommend this Legal Firm, I asked for an Emolument Attachment Order where the defaulters would have paid me directly instead Heyns & Partners went to court and obtained a court order that pays all my monies over to Heyns and Partners. 2 years now and I have not received one cent. Heyns and Partners have overcharged me by R 40 000.00 they refused to give me a detailed statement of account. I went into their offices and instead of helping me and giving me my detailed statement of account they instructed all staff not to have any dealings with me nor give me any information regarding my account. Per the National Credit Act I am supposed to get a detailed statement of account each and every month. Heyns and Partners refuse to give a a detailed statement of Account. My legal fees for a straight forward case is now sitting at R 91 000.00 with no explanation. I cannot recommend this legal firm. Any body with any advice on how to get my detailed statement of account and Emolument Attachment order (Requested over 20 times in writing) would be appreciated.

Lizette Steenkamp at Heynes Partners Inc have no manners no way of speaking of dealing with clients rude women. Tried making arrangement with her she never responds to emails and then threatening with legal action. I called her asked why she never responded to email for making an arrangement she bluntly said I'm not going to respond I'm proceeding with legal action. This is all so that she can make incentives. I have all communication between myself and this LIZETTE women rude no customer service. I would like to get a call from her senior. She shouldn't be dealing with people at all lack of people skills and giving your company a bad name hungry vultures.

Johan Heyns hospital in Vanderbijlpark Gaiteng To whom it may concern I have been a patient of the Johan Heyns hospital/clinic since 2017 after a major medical problem I had. In the beginning everything was going smoothly but during COVID things turned drastically for me. I arranged from the mental health department to a week after my appointed appointment because my dad died of COVID and on the day of my appointment I had the funeral. When I got there they just chased me away saying I don't belong there. They treated me like a leper. Another thing is when I try to contact them on the phone they never answer the phone. It is always timing up to 30 minutes then I am cut off. The nurses are very rude, accusing you of something that you never do. It is unacceptable that we are treated like trash Kind Regards Miss Thea Adele Smith 14 Lombard Street Vanderbijlpark 1900 Gauteng Cell Number: 0833135403

I do not recommend this company. I had an hour and 20min consultation with Mrs van Heerden and was charged an enormous fee. My statement was sent without my deposit amount being reflected. I am still waiting for them to do this. In affect, I was forced to pay over R7500 for an hour and a 20 min consultation that helped me nothing, no work was done. They are forcing me to pay for services that I have not authorised. My instructions was to wait but I got billed for actions I did not ask for or confirm. I tried numerous times to clear out the matter telephonically and via email but got no response. I even got charged for the initial phone call that I made without even seeing her. I am heartbroken to think that in our society today there are people that care so little. Mrs van Heerden knows I am a single mother that does not get any financial help and lost my job. There is no real help here just money making on the agenda. Searching the internet and reviews it is clear that I am not the only client that is extremely unhappy with their services. Be careful of this firm!

A woman sought legal assistance from Heyns & Partners, then based in Vasco Blvd, Bellville 8 years ago when her husband left her and their 2 kids, then 16 and 13 respectfully, for another woman. What should have been a straight forward divorce turned out to be a three-year-long struggle between Seugnet from Heyns & Partners and the husband's Mickey Mouse Attorney firm Mc Donald’s in Cape Town. Heyns & Partners failed terribly to settle on simple things like pension funds, fridges and couches, costing the poor woman tens of thousands of rands while the husband didn't need to pay maintenance for the entire almost 3year period it took Heyns & Partners to finally settle. The woman had to maintain the entire household with their two kids for three years on a single salary while her husband didn’t contribute a cent, all because Heyns & Partners where plainly unprofessionally unable in settling a very straight forward divorce. After the divorce and settlement were finalized the ex-husband didn't honor his obligations towards the settlement in regards to maintenance, school fees, armed response bills, and the municipal bills, to mention only a few clauses. The ex-husband constantly nagged the woman to agree to sell the duly owned property she and the kids had staying right in for as long as the last child isn’t self-sufficient, according to the settlement. Obviously she couldn't agree to sell as she needed a roof over her and her children's heads, and the maintenance he paid poorly and unscheduled wasn't nearly enough to cover a bond or rental if she did. In 2017 the younger child went to university but stopped her studies at the end of the same year as she realized she made a wrong choice of study. During 2018 the child stayed at home to decide on a new study route, and by mid-2018 she enrolled in a new course which started in January 2019. She looked after 2 pre-school boys during 2018 in order to earn just enough to cover her university costs for the 2017 course which she didn't complete. When the ex-husband learned of his younger daughter earning money for looking after the two boys he stopped all obligations towards their settlement which he hasn't already disregarded. He then claimed the last child is now self-sufficient – She earned R3 800 per month looking after the 2 pre-school boys while she waited for her new co**** to start in 2019, paying off her loan of 2017, and thus helping her mother in that way, instead of sitting at home doing nothing. The ex-husband, convinced that the younger child is now self-sufficient, insisted that the property now needs to be sold, according to the settlement. The woman went back to Seugnet at Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville in 2018 with the clear instructions to convince the ex-husband that the child is still studying, that she merely took a year study leave in order to make up her mind what co**** to pursue. Seugnet from Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville indicated clearly that this would be very straight forward and she made no mention at all that there would be costs involved. She didn’t give the woman a quote, nor forwarded any invoices nor statement while she worked the case. The woman thought that Seugnet is doing this very straightforward procedure on a pro-bono basis as a consequence to the divorce case she did. Again Seugnet from Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville failed to convince the ex-husband’s Mickey Mouse Attorney firm that the child is not self-sufficient, and the case dragged out for another year and a half, again with the ex-husband not paying any maintenance, nor reaction unit costs, nor Municipality bills, resulting in the water being cut off on the property after the bill reached R19 000 in dept. The woman had to borrow R19 000 from her dad in order for her and their children to have water on the property. Eventually the woman was forced to seek help from another attorney firm after some months of not hearing from Seugnet. She enquired with Heyns & Perners, only to learn that Seugnet has left the firm, leaving the case high and dry and not informing the woman that she has left. No-one at Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville proceeded with the case. The woman was successful with the new Attorney firm and a settlement was reached with the ex-husband whereas the property would be sold and all proceeds will be divided 50/50, as well as all the school fees, maintenance, water bills, reaction unit costs and many other obligations that was neglected by the ex-husband would be subtracted from his 50% and paid over to the woman upon transfer. It was in fact a straight forward case for the new firm as they managed very easily to convince the courts that the younger child has never been self-sufficient, and a ruling was made, something Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville failed to do. Then came the shock! Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville served the woman with a bill of over R20 000, almost two years later. This after the woman had never received a quote, nor any monthly invoices, nor any statements. The woman couldn’t make payment and subsequently got served with court procedures. She managed to borrow money again in order to settle this ridiculous bill from Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville after failing to come to a down payment agreement with them. To sum it up: Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville were unprofessional in settling the divorce timeously in the first place, dragging a very straight forward case out for years, costing the woman tens of thousands of rand in attorney fees and unpaid maintenance and other costs as the husband didn’t contribute during the years of Heyns & Partners’s poor attempt to settle a very easy divorce. Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd, Bellville then, almost 7 years later, failed horribly to convince the ex-husband that their younger child was never self-sufficient in the year she took care of 2 pre-school boys while waiting for her new course to start, helping her mother by paying of her failed year of studies. Then, after all this, Lizette at Heyns & Partners in Vasco Blvd presented the woman with a bill of almost R20 000, after no monthly invoices or statements were issued, and almost two years after their failed attempt to help the woman, and went as far as pursued court procedures. My point to all is that Heyns & Partners, formally from Vasco Blvd, Bellville, now situated in Panorama just below the Panorama Medi Clinic, has been extremely unprofessional and shows no mercy for woman who has been abused by their husbands, even after they fail to be successful in their cases. I therefore suggest that whoever reads this review regarding Heyns & Partners Panorama warn friends, family and colleagues not to use them. Thank you, A friend

We bought an RDP house through an Agent. We went to Heynz and Partners office where the paper work was completed. We were then instructed to pay the full amount of R160 000 to the account they gave us, saying that that is how they do in the township otherwise the seller looks for another buyer. On the 23rd of March we paid the amount. We then realised the following week the house was sold to another buyer. When we wanted our money back, the agent plays hide and seek. I requested the representative at Heynz to give me the registered name of the agent so that we can report the agent to the board. They do not have details. Our problem is that we would not have paid the money without the participation of a law firm, so we thought the deal is legit, The seller paid us the R100 000 in June but niw the agent is not giving the R60 000. It is now six months since we are requesting our money bsck to no avail. Our question is how does Heynz and Partners issue title deeds of houses sold by unregistered agent who is charging 40% from an RDP house sale. Is this a scam or what? We were sold a house that was not available and now we are not able to get our money back. Please help us
