***** courier cost

I have a packaged that were picked up at Mthatha Eastern cape, I have phoned them and they confirm that the package were picked up and on its way and will be delivered on Saturdays 30/09/2025. Saturday morning I phoned again to ask how late the package will be delivered then they send me a message saying that I need to pay R2000.00 for the insurance of the package and that they cannot deliver before I pay this money why did they not tell me or the sender upfront of this arrangement. still did not receive my package because now it is on hold
