Avoid Hoedspruit Laundromat.
We are camping in the Hoedspruit area for 2 weeks. We desided to have our laundry done today at this local laundromat in Hoedspruit. When asked the owner assured me that my laundry will be done today and ready for pickup at 17:00. When I hot there I was simply told that my laundry is still in the tumble dryer and that they are closing now and I can come tomorrow. This was not possible as we are camping and need some of the laundry like towls etc. When I asked the employee to phone the owner, I was simply told that she does not have airtime and can’t phone. I phoned from my phone and she said that she was on her way to help me. I was also told by the owner to hand my phone to the employee and she spoke to her. Thereafter ALL my laundry, including T-shirts, swimwear (clearly stating on the lable... DO NOT TUMBLE DRY) was taken out of the tumble dryer, not yet dry, folded and handed to me. When I complained to the owner once again as most of our clothes had shrunk, I was simply given “That can’t be!!” and she laughed in my ear. I was very unhappy and told the employee that handed over my laundry. They just laughed behind my back as I exited the laundromat. Please people, do not make the same mistake I did..... avoid this laundromat in Hoedspruit at the Tops Spar shopping centre!!
