The staff were very friendly and helpful! They kept me informed of the progress on my car on a regular basis. Went the extra mile to provide good customer service. I asked for my car to be completed by a certain date, and even though it was earlier than their normal turnaround time, they made the earlier date possible! Very happy with the service received.

I had an extremely poor experience with this service provider. The repair process took far too long, and when I finally received my car, it was in unacceptable condition. The interior was filthy, with oily fingerprints everywhere, despite their claim that they only touched the back. When I asked them to confirm whether the car was working properly, they were reluctant to explain or demonstrate anything. I have since scheduled an appointment with a mechanic to verify the repairs, as I have already noticed several issues. The sensors are not functioning correctly, some of the country alerts are not working, and the boot light is non-functional. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bother to show me the spare wheel, jack, triangle, or fire extinguisher. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair service. I understand thatinsurance companies seek the most cost-effective panel beaters, but professionalism should not be compromised. A quick look at their reviews confirms that I’m not the only one with complaints. I am beyond frustrated, I had to demand for them to show me the car functionality. I was so angry that I told them that im so ****ing upset. Im beyond angry and I don't want to be telling them on what they need to do but rather show me. It was a sh***& show . They don't know how to handle customers who are not happy with their customer

Dealing with this company was one of my worst experiences. Firstly they didn't complete the work they had to do on my car. I had to highlight what was not finish when picking up my car around the 8th of October 2024. They told me that whatever was not done was not part of the repairs. I had to show them on the quotation from the insurance that the item in question was part of the repairs. They gave me my car and promised to sort out the incomplete work. Two weeks went by without any communication from them so I started calling them to find out what was happening. They kept making empty promises and I ended up having to involve the insurance company to assist with this issue. Hofbro now wanted me to pay for their courtesy car to fix the mess they made. To me this said that they are not taking full responsibility for their mess. As a customer I should not be inconvenienced by their incompetence of doing their job properly. Now I have to be short of money to help them sort out their mess, so I refused to pay the money. They eventually gave me a courtesy car and resolved the issue. The whole process took almost 2 month to get my car sorted. After all that, no apology from them for the inconvenience, nothing. I recommend that you check your car properly when dealing with this company because getting your issue resolved will be very frustrating. I wouldn't want to ever deal with them and I told my insurance the same.

Car went in for repairs in 2019. 3 Years later the paint started cracking and front and back bumpers and full driver side was re sprayed, colour dit not match the rest of the car. The manager told me it was because of sun light. Unfortunately, I did not go back when I had to.

On Friday 03 May 2024 I called them to check on the progress and was informed the car is being stripped after it’s been there for a week. Today on the 07 May 2024 I received an sms informing me that they have found other unforseen damages and have submitted them to insurance and are awaiting authorisation. It’s been 6 working days and it certainly look like they will not be delivering on the 10 working days they committed to. This is a serious inconvenience as I don’t have an alternative vehicle.

My car was in for a front bumper repair in 2021. It's a while back but now I am starting to see the shoddy workmanship of this panel shop. It took Hofbro a month to repair my bumper which I think is minor repair. Years later and the bumper is starting to pull away from the body of the car, it's worse on warmer days which i think a type of glue additive was used and the bumper is not aligned correctly. The bumper was resprayed black but does not match the rest of the car panels. I decided to check the reviews about the panel shop and I'm not surprised to see the bad reviews. I really wish that insurers stop using this panel shop as they are ripping customers off and making money through shoddy work. I am now left to repair my bumper myself.

Bought a brand new Hino 1627 truck from Eastvaal Toyota Truck went to Anchor Auto Body Builders to fit a new cattle body! Worse nightmare ever!! Truck has been back now 6 times never been used,to try and resolve their issues without any luck whatsoever Both directors Ricardo Gallego and Ismail Ballim is a joke,no business ethics nor customer service!! They can't attend to meetings which they schedule nevertheless answer my calls Door not use these guys their workmanship is disastrous My whole front cab, tank, air tanks, chasssis, rims and engine compartment is full of OVERSPRAY which they've tried to remove several times but with no success,ended up making it worse!! Not to mention my Cab on the inside, full of deep scratches on my plastic trimmings and it's a brand new truck Their lack of knowledge and service is HORRIFYING They still owe me a full tank of diesel as well as as my plastic trimmings which the dealership has quoted them on!! DOOR NOT USE THESE BODY BUILDERS BELIEVE ME YOU'LL BE VERY SORRY PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT SPARTAN TRUCK HIRE REVIEWS AS WELL, Ismail is n partner there as well where not once but on several pages shows out what croocks they are I don't want anyone else to walk the same path,believe me I'm not done with them yet this will go on all social media platforms if need be I'll even get it published in all that's a newspaper This is really a disgrace of such a company,many years ago you wouldn't had this problem when it was ran by n good knowledge uncle!!

Apart from the fun adventure that google maps initially took me on in order to drop my vehicle off for repairs, the service and repairs carried out by Hofbro Auto Body was top class! There is a very good reason that they are vehicle manufacturer approved. From the friendly and very helpful security guard when the you arrive, to the two ladies at the front desk, I had seamless and professional assistance. Desiree was a delight to deal with. The repairs to the vehicle was quick and efficient. The physical repairs carried out on the vehicle, panel beating and paint work, is highly professional - exact paint match, no flaws in the blending. A very happy customer.
