I’m doing this review on behalf of my Boss,(it is a bit of a mixed review with some good points and some bad points) the Dr asked me to order 2 stretch tents for a funeral. I placed the order with the product number but the quote was for a different tent apparently and I wasn’t able to see the product number on the quote but we made the payment, at the end the dr said its fine its nearly the same and not much price difference, (just don’t know why you send a product number if they still can’t get it right) we made payment, but forgot to make Immediate payment, we send the proof pf payment to them but Mpho refused to accept the proof of payment and said they will only process the invoice once the money reflects in there account. It’s for a funeral, so it’s a bit urgent. Therefore the drs wife called and asked what now and at the end Mpho said we should do another payment that will show immediately. It was R4500 so its not small and they cant trust the dr but wants us to trust them, but fine we made the payment and the courier was able to pick it up the next day. And we received the tents but no installation instructions were given so I asked for instructions but didn’t get any response. Luckily we fond someone that was able to put the tents up. So that crisis was solved but with no help from Mpho. The refund was processed quickly and I received proof of the payment today, so I am very grateful for that. At least they were honest enough to refund us and the tent came in time. But it cost us making the payment 2time and a lot of extra stress. At the end I give a 5 star because the tent came and the promise of a refund did materialise. Customer service isn’t the best especially after sales. But we are still extremely grateful to have been refunded promptly. I can recommend them if you know the product or you ask all questions upfront don’t think they will help you after the sale unless it was discussed before the sale. Make sure everything is clear and you know exactly what you are paying for. And if possible check before accepting the parcel. And if possible still before you leave the premises we couldn’t have checked as we are from a different town. I do think Mpho may be overwhelmed and overworked and maybe that’s why you don’t get the after sales service you may need. I think the store is big and a lot of work for this one person.

#BlackFriday On 26 October 2023 I ordered dessert cups with lids 4 X (40 in a packet). They were R129 per packet. I paid and send proof of payment and told them that I will come and collect on Friday 27 October 2023. I went to collect in Midrand and was served by Mpho. I was given a plastic with my order and she told the guy at the door what items were in the packet. The guy stamped the Tax invoice and I left. We all three did not open to check what was inside and when I arrived home and wanted to start preparing the dessert I noticed that they gave me 3 instead of 4 packets. From the 3 I only used 2 packets since the 3rd one were all cracked on the side. So instead of preaparing 160 desserts I could only do 80. Monday 30 October 2023 I told them that the oeder was not correct but they insist that it was fine. I told them the whole packet was cracked they said I must send pictures of which I did. The only response I got was " I really do noy understand cause we've never had any problems with them'. This means I flushed R258 down the drain. This is a very bad customer service.

Only after after enquiring about my order this robbing 19 September after the delivery date was due, I get a phone call from the manager apologising for the 'inconvenience' but they do not have the stock they already sold to me and I have to pay an additional R1000 for something else. This is not inconvenient, this is bad customer service and completely unacceptable!

I ordered white cushions online on 13 Sep for a wedding 24 September. Only after after enquiring about my order this robbing 19 September after the delivery date was due, I get a phone call from the manager apologising for the 'inconvenience' but they do not have the stock they already sold to me and I have to pay an additional R1000 for something else. This is not inconvenient, this is bad customer service and completely unacceptable!

friendly and helpful staff . There’s a huge range of everything - balloons , chairs , tables , crockery , cutlery , homeware , tablecloths , napkins , vases , flowers , grass etc. and you can order online . I definitely recommend u visiting this store . U won’t leave empty handed .

I am very dispaointed in the way the business treats it's customers, I struggled for three hours to get a simple quoatation to purchase a tent, chairs and tables from this Company, I call a cosultant answered, and given whatsapp number, but anytime i sent whatsapp i only get blue ticked, if i call no one answers my call. when i get into the webiste i stuggle again and when i call for assistance on the website no one answers the call, what must I do in order to get attention to purchase what I want from Homein1? because I just want to buy not build any relationship or freindship, I just want to buy, why is this company dont have time for customers? bad service and now i have to search for another company offering same services but time is running away from me, So disappointed with Homein1 , pathetic service and very arrogant staff who don't have a will to assist clients or even have courtesy to answer phone calls.
