I bought a motorcycle from this Ike motorcycles and on my word what a drag. So after I bought the motorcycle driven it for one month then suddenly the clutch gave some problems yet OK it's not a new bike so I send it to him for repairs this was in September 2023 after a week collected it from him after payment been done next day I was driving to work and within the first 10km it seems I got no power from the motorcycle then suddenly just cut out and have a bad sound. So I contacted him again saying where the bike was so he must collect it and fix it. Thus said and ongoing calls and visits to him 10 months down the line I got the bike they had to rebuild the whole motor after they worked on it. Wow so now my motorcycle is done took a Uber there and inspect the motorcycle so now the neutral light don't work and the indicators and the feul gauge but all this was working fine then. OK I'm just happy to see the motorcycle is done OK so driving from Randburg (Johannesburg) to edenvale on a Friday and on the way home I hear funny noises and just said I'm not going back let me just go home at greenstone shopping center the motorcycle died again for the 20th time so.... Now I'm stuck again after the long wait so pushed the motorcycle home got home already dark and I see my cam adjustment is lying on the motor. I phoned him again and just say it's his guys that worked on it. I am at a boiling point. Please anyone don't send your motorcycles there or even buy anything from this *****.

Today my son took my Honda motorcycle in for a service at Menlyn branch. This was after we had booked the service last week. Today while the bike was in for the service got a note saying that they don't have the parts to service the bike. Why do I even bother to book a service, where you get asked all the pertinent questions regarding the bike? Now I understand why people don't want to have their vehicles serviced at dealers. The dealers ask exorbitant prices for , at best, lacklustre, service. in this case .... NO SERVICE. i am regretting the day I bought a Honda. Will go back to my usual German brand .. at least I get what I pay for before and after the sale.

I am extremely, in fact, more than extremely upset with HONDA ZA Motorcycles. After weeks of seeing if HONDA ZA can import a Goldwing GL1800, 2021, manual in Black. The answer was no, due to colour allocation from Japan. This is a special order, for Pete's sake. One now has to settle with Candy Argent Red. So we order and pay for a Manual Candy Argent Red GL1800 2021 edition. Not at Cash Discount price either, as HONDA ZA wants full price. SO, cash transfer was done, this morning. Get a call from the dealer later in the day, advising that HONDA ZA is advising, not possible to get said Goldwing, due to factory production being the Goldwing DCT model. This is now strike 2, as they say. I am more than livid with HONDA ZA. HONDA ZA suggested to dealer I may want the DCT model instead, as there is an production order in at the factory and the waiting time is less. Not at the price being asked for a Goldwing DCT. Thank you very much I am an avid bike rider and as a bike rider, one chooses manual gear shift, as this is part of the whole wind in your hair experience. My bikes have been and is manual: are ridden beyond the 100.000km mark and still live to tell the tale. HONDA ZA had better get their act together really quickly, with an alternative to- for their grossly inadequate support and a stuff-up of major proportions. HONDA ZA - give me a DCT model, at a price closer to the Manual model and then perhaps I will consider. Would be even better if the Goldwing was Black in colour.

ent Honda wing a few e-mails about trade in of my bike for a more up dated bike they haven't come back to me. So i am considering taking my business else were. I really thought under new owner ship they might be a little more jacked up. Obvuoisly hasn't changed at all. Did ask sheldon about trading my bike in Was asked hows that going to work? as he was riding mine for a while. any way i'll take my bussiness to either Sandton who has been very helpful or Menlyn

Just not worth it. We have bought two XL150's for our business. The first one was stolen after 2.5 days. We had the second one for around two months before it overheated and seized. This was at the beginning of April. After they tried a few different angles to blame the failure on us, they eventually agreed to cover the repairs under warranty. Their angles of blame included us hitting a pothole and damaging the engine. It goes really awkward for them when they could not show a shred of evidence to support this. It seems it was just a first line of defense to see if they could get out of a warranty claim. Now more than a month later we still don't have our bike. It's taking ages for them to get parts and get the repair done. We've now been told the bike it being taken away from the Sandton branch, to another branch that can do this repair. It's a very basic bike - I cannot understand what is so complicated. We bought Hondas because of their "good" warranty over Suzuki and the other competitors but with the costs of having a driver off the road for over a month, plus the courier fees we've had to pay to do the work use used to do on the bike, we could have just both a Suzuki cash. From the other reviews I have seen about Honda Motorcycles on HP, it seems we are not alone. We are so disappointed. We will not be building our fleet with Hondas.

Honda Sandton In short: - January 28th my bike went in - Waited 2 weeks for Honda to approve warranty fix - Only then to realise my bike was not under warranty (wasted 2 weeks) - The bike was then assessed after week 3 - Parts not in SA, will take 15 WORKING day to arrive - 15 WORKING days later, "sorry but the part will only arrive at the end of June" - Lots of heated conversations to try and get hold of management later... - Some people went on leave/training and just left the bike standing for a week. - APRIL: Well, the weeks have all become a blur, we call, they say "it will be ready today/ tomorrow/ next week" - April week 2: Bike was "fixed", It started smoking so now they have to open my bike again to see what's wrong. - Turns out something else was broken so now we must pay more to have that fixed too. (Why did they not check the bike properly the first time?) (We only said they could go ahead and fix the bike in the first place because we had a budget) - We could have argued, we could have fought, we are all just so tired of this now that how can we? - April 17th 2019: I was promised yesterday that my bike would be fixed 100% by COB today... - COB... NOTHING! There is more but that's in the long version... I have tried everything: - Honda's Facebook page, sorry, PAGES! They all offer no help. - Spoke to the general manager at Honda Sandton, he managed to get us a little more urgency, but that was it. Nothing that would actually make a difference. - I have been into the shop personally I want to scream at someone and ask them to give me this fix for free, to say a 10% discount on a silly part just won't cut it... but I am tired. I just need my bike fixed... If Honda doesn't reply (I know they won't), Please dear reader, when you see those silver rugby posts for a logo, RUN! Or better yet, drive away in your Working vehicle and know that any brand is better than Honda.
