Selling Counterfeit items

In April 2022, I purchased a pair of Converse Comme Des Garcons shoes from Amohelang Maboi. He claimed that the shoes were imported legally and were genuine and that his stock was collected at the airport. However, just over a year later, the shoes began to fall apart, and I realized that they were counterfeit. He had convinced me to buy the shoes by scanning a **** barcode that he had created, which matched the barcode on the original shoes.

I am warning his customers that he is selling counterfeit items. I will be reporting him to the SAPS and requesting a refund of R2,400.
