Purchased a hyperli voucher for this spa which clearly says on it that is available on weekends. I advised i cannot come in the week but they refused (even tho it shows on the voucher). Voucher has now expired. Both hyperli and the spa have not refunded me. Be very careful of both!!

As anyone who knows us, knows my husband and I love trying out new places whether it's restaurants, boutiques, hotels or BnB's we simply love it. Especially knowing that most of my colleagues abroad checks out my social media and they try out the places I usually post about. Well my excitement came to an end recently. My husband decided to surprise me with a night away at Hotel Sky. Whilst the evening he planned was lovely. The joy and happiness was short lived. The room was booked until 10am. We usually check out at any place we stay over before the check out time. I was busy getting dressed this was just after 9am when we heard a knock on the door. I yelled out to say we are in the room but the lady still used the key to enter the room. I felt so violated as she stood there while I was in my underwear. What added insult to injury was the hotel was extremely nonchalant about this incident. They could not be bothered how this affected me. Utterly dismayed!

So I booked a room a Hotel Sky in the early hours of Saturday morning to catch some sleep before sunrise and avoid driving home tired. Then I get told I must pay an extra R550 because check-in closed at 14h00? Seemed very odd and was disappointing but I had to pay anyway. I asked them to show me these terms and conditions on booking.com where I had made the booking but they could not.

My husband and i checked into Hotel Sky Cape Town on 23rd April and checked out on 24th April 2021-booking reference 75178.I booked though booking.com and made a payment via my Capitec Acc, upon checkout the payment was still not reflecting so i made another payment with promise from the Reservations Manager that i will be credited. I sent an e-mail on 4th May, phoned on 9th May and sent whatsapp to the Reservations Manager on 9 and 10th May only for her to inform me that the front desk manager will call me and i am still waiting for the call. This is horrible service because in essence i paid double the amount for just 1 night stay and now i must beg to be refunded. My advice to people is rather pay directly at the hotel to avoid all this drama.

Hotel Sky Sandton is one amazing and Elegant place to be. The location is at the heart of the Sandton, Sandton City, and the Sandton Convention Centre and only is just 3 mins walk away. Including the Gautrain that is just around the corner. So one does not even need to have a car. They have an automated robot to assist if the staff is busy, saving you time. They also allow for self check in and for even more convenience, you can book a Gautrain ticket in the lobby. The restaurants that are in the building, were Devine and the views are spectacular. They have coffee stations everywhere with great cuppachino's at a push of a button. The decor was definitely a highlight for me. The management and staff where all ready to help at the drop of a hat. They went over and above their call of duty to help us. The pool was amazing and temperature was great! Loved lounging at the pool. Fresh towels were provided at all times. The Bed was so comfortable and the facilities in the room was just as stylish and comfortable. The TV added more personal touch by having my name as an introduction. This is special as you don't feel like just a number, you feel important to Hotel Sky. The Shower heated up fast. Blinds where automated and amazing. Tons of elevators, which means you don't even have to wait long to be anywhere. We enjoyed our stay and will be back very soon. Thank you Hotel Sky for everything.
