Poor products, poor service

I ordered custom made car items for my car interior. I ordered a boot liner, rubber mats, and a made-to-measure dog barrier. Their prices are quite outrageous, but I made the choice to proceed because I transport big dogs in my car every day, and want to protect the interior as much as possible. I also really battled to find a company in Jhb that could manufacture these items. They are based in CT (charged an arm and a leg for delivery too). The boot liner was too small. The rubber mat they sent, I could easily have bought from Westpack at a fraction of the price. The worst was the dog barrier. At nearly R3000, the quality was absolutely shocking. I actually had to ask a friend to resize and reassemble it. It was basically made of cheap metal and foam. It's been in my car for a few weeks and it's totally warped and distorted. Their communication is poor, but their after sales service is non-existent. They never phoned or emailed to check if I had received the products or whether I was satisfied. When I emailed them with my complaints, I was basically given business speak for 'EFF off'. I would recommend that you save your hard-earned money before dealing with them.
