Terrible experience with Motani, I would rather shop with Sedgar. You will never get your stuff on time and if there is any issue they will just blame it on you and not take any accountability. There are better companies who are more worthy to be supported.

Probably the worst company to do business with. No contact numbers, no reply to emails, sub-standard products. Clearly an incompetent management who avoid any form of customer service.

Heaven help ANYONE out there who is owed a refund by House of Motani. I requested a refund on the 2nd of November 2018 for the R30 000 deposit previously paid. After sending several emails and being sent from pillar to post, i spoke to Mary Lavita in the debtors department last week Tuesday who apologised for the delayed processing of the refund and assured me that all paperwork was ready and that i would receive the refund last week Friday. I mailed her on Friday requesting the proof of payment and was blatantly ignored. House of Motani did not honour their commitment to process the refund even after assuring me that it was on queue for payment last Friday nor did i receive any email informing me of further processing delays. I have called the head office twice today and no one is picking up my calls. It is a sad day indeed when large companies like House of Motani make empty refund promises to customers and dodge phone calls and emails to avoid processing refunds.

I am extremely disgusted by the service at House of Motani at Wynberg. We physically ordered a lounge suit where you can pick your own leather material from the shop. We waited for weeks before it can be delivered in limpopo Tzaneen. When the lounge suit arrived, it was not the right material and colour that we physically choose at the shop and when you sit on it, it is such bad poor quality. when you sit on it is not worth the fifty thousand that was spent on it. We reported the matter after 5 days that we are unhappy with the lounge suit. I even went back to the shop to ask for a sample that was used on the suit and they couldn't provide it and said the material is finished. They are refusing to take it back. when you even send them emails about your complain, they reply after 5 days. They undermine their customers, and this is because they think that the lounge suit is in Tzaneen and we wouldn't pick up if it is the exact colour. Please guys I highly recommend any customer not to go and purchase things at house of Motani.

I bought a Madrid lounge suite from House and Home - House of Motani product. My 3 seater couch has broken down now twice in 4 months....When trying to contact House of Motani, the koedoe****rt number, the lady who answers the phone was so so rude, i actually almost had a stroke....Why is it that the product of House of Motani is so badly manufactured? All I wanted from this lady at Koedoe****rt was some info on who to contact from House of Motani to complain....really. Or is this how they are trained to **** people off and never give out any info? Really
