Thank you to Halfway Howick for splendid service. After an initial bad experience I was so impressed with the help and understanding from Dealer Principal Jaco and Salesman Thami. My concerns were genuine and they were both kind and helpful. Every problem I had was dealt with speedily and with such efficiency. I’m very grateful to both of you and needless to say very happy with my new car. May I wish you both a really good 2025 and many more sales in the months to come. WELL DONE!

Took car for service on 12/11/2024. Service agent gave no updates, there was so much confusion for pick up (they had someone else's address)yet they dropped me off. There was no express service as it ended up taking a whole day. I arrived and asked Service Manager to open engine and show me what was done. He was not expecting that as my engine was filthy and he claimed his washer is broken and would cost R10k to fix so they steam washed. It didnt even look wiped! Further, they had someone else's details and could not tell me how a demo model bought from a Toyota dealer had another persons details plus address on it! I am still waiting for confirmation of details being updated and information from the place I purchased on why it had another person's details. Did they sell me a pre owned disguised as demo?? Was a proper service done? Why was I charged in full if they couldnt even do a wash of engine as would have been the case? Tried calling call centre with no luck. Finally got another person at Toyota to take my details down but still no response. I would NEVER recommend Toyota! I will escalate to Ombudsman

I have been waiting for my extended warranty on my new Rav 4 from 19/10/2022 when it was promised to be active. Up till today the service manager, when I contact him has all the excuses available and it has never been resolved. Not good enough service.

The help I got from the manager was totally racist(brandon)I have purchased a brandnew vehicle with many defects. His approach towards is like I hawker... Basically indirectly that's how it is.. End of the day I'm paying for a brand new not him it's so easy to say what you want to say... Judged as a Lower class man.. Made a promise to that will call me back etc to try and help but then again I'm not his skin type... Like now I left my vehicle to be sorted out and will be changing the mirrors and sorting out other defects.. From the sale man to the finance lady I had joy.. But not the Manger.. He didn't have the decency to congratulate me on my new purchase etc..

I still cant comprehend how a well know brand like Toyota let there customers be treated the way I was. I asked for a specific vehicle they got me the vehicle from a sisiter othere branches, I test drive the vechile, I signed the PTO and paid over my deposit and the day I was sepouse to pick up my vechile I recieved a phone call telling me that there was a mixed up between the 2 branches paper work and the vechile does not exist??? But I sat and test drive the vechile how can it not exist!!! The vehicle must have been sold and know they can tell the truth or give a better explanation. After all promisses of finding me another vechile the best they could up with was a year model older then the one I all ready signed and paid a deposit on as well as the km where much higher and they expected me to be happy wit the deal and exept it as it is. I told the sales person that is not good enough and that this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I had to do some phoning and looking around of myself and I managed to find a vechiles at the same branch in the same year model, lower km for less then what the Howick branch offerd me. How does any toyota dealership do this, how can they not look trough all there branches before just giving up and let the customer to go and hunt down there owm vechile when it was a 99% done deal. This is externally unprofessional and unacceptable and I know that is so much more that they could have done and offered from there side. I would not reccomend anyone to tray and buy a vehicle from Howick Halfway Toyota. Even when I spoke to other toyota branches they truely could not believe what happen to me and believe me this other toyota dealership went out of there way to assist me till we found the correct vehicle.
