If I could give them 0 stars I would. Appliance Man are complete *****s. They advertise Free call out, but then when you call, they tell you they will charge you R600 call out fee if the quote is not accepted. Called them to fix my chest freezer. Quoted me R4680 for a new compressor. When I didn't accept quote, charged me R600. Insisted the compressor is broken. Called another company, they came out and checked and told me the compressor was NOT broken, it just needed a new starter, relay, the filter needed to be cleaned and it needed gas. They fixed it and my freezer is working 100%. Cost me 1/3 of the quote received from Appliance Man. Never use Appliance Man, they will **** you, ***** your perfectly working parts and replace it when it does not need replacing. I am so glad I did not accept their outrageous quote. Please beware! They will ***** from you. Complete *****s!!!

Appliance Man in Gauteng - ***********, appalling, unreliable and dishonest
I would urge that no one, absolutely no one uses Appliance Man services in Gauteng to repair even a doorknob. Appalling service, they lie, string you along, and never keep promises. It’s been 5 days and my mother’s fridge is still not repaired yet they’ve been paid in full after working on it, only to realise later that it’s not functioning. They’ve had to be called multiple times, messaged and all they did was string us along. The manager or owner, whatever Jacob is, is ***********. Mthokozisi, the technician is an abject **** and clearly no clue what he’s doing. We have demanded a refund so we can at least get a provider that will actually deliver. You do not want to risk it with them. They are terrible. I do not recommend them.

Courteous and professional service
I found the contact details for Appliance Man online this morning. Called them about an error message on my old washing machine. They were unable to fix it but were exceptionally courteous and professional. I had another company come out previously and their technician was uninterested from the moment in. Saving Appliance Man’s contact information for future reference!

Great service and prompt follow up.
Great experience with the team and MC specifically. Our 14 year old fridge stopped working, and we thought it needed a good regas. We asked them to regas it for us.. and turns out it wasnt the only problem, they came back promptly the day after and refitted piping and the fridge works as expected again. Thank youuuu
