Took delivery of my pre owned 2023 hyundai grand i10 on the 22nd November 2024 by sales consultant Sylvester. I was only given 1 key for the vehicle. No spare key. Was given different story all the time about the key being cut to the person who will cut the key coming to my house to do it. Till to date the 25 July 2025, no spare key. Plus now I have rust starting on the boot. How is it possible for a 2023 model starting to rust. I would not advise this branch to any of my family, colleagues or friends.

DEMAND FOR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE VEHICLE OR FULL REFUND: ENWYR ELECTRICAL & BUILDING CONTRACTING / HYUNDAI TYGERVALLEY 1. On 4 October 2024, I, Mr Enwyr Simons on behalf of Enwyr Electrical and Building Contracting entered into a sale agreement with Hyundai Tygervalley, wherein I purchased a Hyundai H100.26F/C D/S Bakkie (“the vehicle”) for the amount of R404 999.50. The agreement was duly concluded, and I took possession of the vehicle on 8 October 2024. Attached is the invoice in respect of the transaction. 2. Shortly after taking possession of the vehicle, I encountered mechanical issues and on or about 12 October 2024, the vehicle broke down. It was discovered that the gearbox was defective. 3. Following the breakdown, I immediately contacted Hyundai offices to report the defect. Hyundai offered a courtesy Hyundai H100.26F/C D/S Bakkie to him, this offer was not honoured, and no courtesy vehicle was provided to continue my business as intended. 4. The defective vehicle was only collected by Hyundai 4 (four) days after the breakdown occurred. 5. I explicitly requested a replacement vehicle of the same model and value, as the vehicle was unfit for its intended purpose due to the mechanical defect. 6. On or about 18 October 2024, Hyundai contacted and informed me that the vehicle had been transferred into my business’s name and was available for collection from their workshop. 7. I refused to accept delivery, reiterating my demand for a replacement vehicle as previously communicated. 8. On 31 October 2024, I advised that the matter had been escalated to Hyundai SA. However, as of the date I have received no further response or feedback regarding the resolution of this issue. 9. As a result, my business operations have been severely impacted. 10. I was unable to continue my business effectively without the vehicle and holds Hyundai liable for the resultant damage in this regard.

I bought a car from Hyundai at the Tygervalley branch on the 21st of February. The process seemed fine at first, and Nathan was the sales consultant who helped me. After I made the purchase, things quickly went downhill. Nathan became the manager right after my sale and seemed to lose interest. We waited a while for the registration papers and number plates, but we didn't hear anything. After calling several times, being referred to Nathan but not getting an answer, he finally told us there was an issue with the paperwork. After it was fixed, we waited another week, but when we called again, we were told there was another problem. This time, we were asked to write a permission letter for the license disk pickup. We did as requested, but we still had to call and wait a lot. Eventually, we found out that Nathan was now on holiday without letting us know or taking care of the matter. I didn’t get the license plates until a month after purchasing the car. By then, the temporary license had already expired. Nathan never came back to us or even seemed to care. It honestly felt like he was avoiding me and pushing the problem onto me. After all, it’s a service I’ve already paid for. Also the wheel alignment was terrible the steering wheel was not dead centre and for our extended service plan they used the wrong kilometers skipping a service that was never done so had to phone them to change service plan from the right starting kilometers The whole situation was handled very poorly. If you're looking to buy a car without all this hassle, I would suggest avoiding this branch.

I had the most amazing experience with Hyundai Tygervalley, and I can't praise their exceptional service enough! A special shoutout to Keitometse and Alta, who made the entire process an absolute breeze. Both ladies were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, going above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. It's such a pleasure working with women who truly know their stuff and handle everything with such expertise (nothing against the men, but these ladies were phenomenal!). Thank you, Hyundai Tygervalley, for making my car-buying journey such a memorable one. I absolutely love my beautiful new car, and it's all thanks to your outstanding team!

I recently traded in my car for a new Hyundai i10. I have never experienced such amazing service before. Everyone at the Tygervalley branch is kind, considerate, and transparent. I live in the Southern Suburbs but didn't mind driving out to them as they honestly heard me and what I needed.

I bought a pre-owned vihicle in this dealership. 20th November 2024 I signed finance contract , I was financed by Wesbank. The unfortunate happened 22 November I was notified by my employer that I'm being retrenched. This is 2 days after I signed finance contract. I went to the dealership notify them what has transpired and requested to uplift the deal. With all that I called Wesbank and they advised me that I can still cancel this deal with no cost involved. It's now January 10th 2025 I'm still going back and forth between wesbank and the dealership. The dealer hasn't refund the bank. Wesbank debited 25th December this issues is still pending with no resolution I'm now looking at possibilities of another debit cause wesbank says hyundai Tyger valley hasn't process this refund and basically there's nothing they can do. With all this, I don't have the vihicle in my position the delivery was never taken. I'm now basically paying a car that's not even with me.
