Below is a summary of the issues encountered: 1. Vehicle Registration Still Pending Despite purchasing the vehicle over a month ago, the car is still not registered in my name. This is both unacceptable and ********, and no clear timeline or follow-up has been provided regarding this matter. 2. Mechanical Issues Shortly After Purchase After acquiring the vehicle: The engine warning light has come on twice. There is a significant oil leak from the engine area. 3. Inspection and Feedback – 10 June 2025 The vehicle was booked in for an inspection on 10 June 2025, and on the same day, your service department provided a list of urgent repairs required: Replacement of the tappet cover gasket Replacement of four O-rings Replacement of the high-pressure pump seal Replacement of the fuel pressure sensor Refill of anti-freeze coolant 4. Lack of Communication and Responsibility Avoidance On 11 June, I contacted your service department for an update and spoke with Jamie, who stated that she was awaiting feedback from the Second-hand Vehicle Manager and would revert the same day. No feedback was received. On 13 June, I followed up again and was informed by Jamie that a claim was submitted via my extended warranty. This raised a red flag as the vehicle is still within the 6-month statutory warranty/guarantee period as per the Consumer Protection Act and Hyundai's own policies. I questioned this and was told to contact Mr. Lincy, the Second-hand Vehicle Manager. Upon speaking to Mr. Lincy, I was shocked at his dismissive attitude. When I asked why the extended warranty was being used instead of Hyundai’s 6-month guarantee, he claimed that because I received a discount on the vehicle, the 6-month guarantee was nullified. This is not only false but potentially in breach of consumer rights. At no point during the sale was I informed—verbally or in writing—that a negotiated discount would void Hyundai’s standard post-sale guarantees.

My vechile was damaged while it was booked in for its annual service. I only saw that the lens was cracked on my mirror indicator when I got home. The service manager refuses to take responsibility and informed me that I removed the vechile from the premises. I showed him the photos which clearly proves it was damaged in the workshop. All the photos they took prior to me booking in the vechile is apparently unclear. So please be aware of this practice. You need to fine comb your vechile before removing it from their premises. I will never make use of them in future.

On the 17-01-2025 I took my Hyundai i20 for a service. I left it there to be serviced, and I went back to my work. Usually when your car is being serviced they usually call u to let u know if your vehicle is done . I went there seated for the whole 3hrs and no one inform me that the vehicle is done. Later on they called (when I was seating at their guest lounge) that they been trying to reach me with no avail, and that time my phone is the whole time in the palm of my hand. When I got home I noticed that they did not put the the service stamp on my service book. I'm not gonna talk about how they broke my car keys in 2023 and they say they got it like that. I just let it side I'm seating here and wondering if my vehicle was serviced or if they just chowed my R2220.00 I paid. If u will ever see me servicing my car at Hyundai Milnerton please cut me my index finger. I don't know why I keep on going to them because I had a great experience at Hyundai Paarden Island it's just that they were fully booked that day

Disgusting behavior by Hyundai Milnerton.Leaving a disable weelchair bound person stranded without transport. NO compassion or support. No interested in trying to resolve or make a alternative arrangement .This aftera Manufacturers fault during a routine service of a brand-new vehicle.Shocking! After sale service is a Joke.

Buying my first car was the worst experience ever. I Haven't even driven the car for 1 week flat-out and it still has problems after receiving the car back from the dealership twice. On the 27th of May I've picked up my new Pre owned Hyundai i10 2015. I was promised with a few things that would be fixed and not all of it was done by the time I collected the car. After receiving die car back yesterday, 8 June 2023, for the second time and: - I've noticed the fixed up mirrors are not properly assembled. - The plastic section where the seat belt goes through has been scratched/damaged. - The car is still making a loud knocking noise in the front. - After they tried to make the door lock word properly, the inside locking system is faulty.

I bought a pre-owned vehicle at Hyundai Milnerton last year October, in December my radio went off and the screen completely blank. I informed my sales person Adrian and Aadel was very friendly he assisted me in December when I reported the matter because Adrian was on leave but I left a message for him. Aadel took my car to the work shop and it was examined , and it was confirmed that there is a problem with my radio and it also affects the reverse camera. I was advised the supplier that manufactures Hyundai radios will only re-open in Jan the 15th so i need to come back around that time. I've made several attempts to contact the dealer and the sales person up to this day my radio is not fixed. Adrian keeps on making empty promises. last time i spoke to him he mentioned that my car needs to be taken for road worthy. seems like there are so many issues attached to this car. honestly i regret my decision of buying from Hyundai Milnerton, feels like after the sale they forget about you and treat you like a Berger. their service is very poor i wouldn't even recommend this dealer to my cycle of friends, I've had enough

I would never in my life recommend Hyundai.1St I had aproblem getting the car registration. Secondly the car broke, it was towed in yesterday and they told me a pipe burst and its a manufacturing fault. Now they are refusing to give me a courtesy car. They tell me it might take a month or more to fix it because they need to order the part...One its their fault...the car is not even one year. Two I should pay AVIS car rental if I need a car....I'm paying my instalments every month and now I should spend more this month because of their fault. I am very frustrated.

I took my I10 Hyundai in for a water leak they did a pressure test, the day after they let me know that they have to remove the engine or part of the engine to do a diagnostic to see what is wrong for a amount of R 4000+ and as per there experience it can cost any thing between R16,000 and a ridiculous amount to do the repairs. I took the car to a automotive repairs in Montaque Gardens they did a pressure test, they discovered a burst rubber pipe and a small part on the engine which was defective and repaired it for R 4000.
