Ibreak came and collected my tablet for repair over a month ago at my house. They promised me a 5 day turn around time. I have not been able to get hold of them on there phone or email address for the past month. NO RESPONSE AT ALL.

I sent my iPhone to these guys for repair. The quoted me a price which i agreed to. They then told me to deposit the money before the send the phone back after they repaired it. I deposited the money and 2 weeks later no phone. I called them back and they told me that it will cost a further 399 ex vat for a new battery as the battery is also faulty to which i told them that my battery was replaced before already. Told them to send back my phone but still no phone. Now i am out of pocket and no phone either.

<p>I booked an iPad cracked screen repair with iBreak, they arranged with the Courier Guy to collect the iPad, the iPad has been stolen in a hi-jacking. The Courier Guy gave great service and paid a flat rate of R1 000.00 for my loss, the iBreak team has since disappeared of the face of the earth, not answering phone calls or emails.</p> <p> </p> <p>If they still exist do not use them!</p> <p> </p>

<p>I took my iPhone 6s in just for a software restore. They had my phone for a week and couldn't restore the software to factory settings. I collected it from them and took it to Apple, they notified me that iBreak replaced my screen with a fake one. They are criminals. Do not trust them. Stay far away.</p>

<p>Do your homework before using this dealership. I can't abide dishonesty and lies. Go to a reputable dealership and pay a bit more. It will be worth it in the end. They refused to uphold a 12 month guarantee on replaced LCD - firstly saying they made a mistake on the invoice, then saying it was glass and NOT an LCD that had been replaced even though the price charged was for an LCD and it clearly said LCD on the invoice, and the front desk lady told me there was a 12 month guarantee, and then finally LUKE admitted it was the LCD, but refused to replace without charging again because suddenly their back up computer told them there was no 12 month guarantee! The story changed so many times it made my head spin. The manager NIC BARNES left the shop before my query was dealt with leaving his ill advised staff to flounder around. I will take my iPhone to a reputable dealer and hopefully IBreak have not damaged it irreparably it took LUKE over an hour to restore it to original, which is concerning given that it took them less time than that to 'fix' it. </p>

I consider myself to be a very patient personbut the lies from IBreak and MTN have made me lose my cool.</p> <p>I took in my phoe to an MTN store on the 8th of March 2017, and they sent it through to iBreak and was told that the phone would be in 7 working days. It has been a month later and my phone is still not fixed. All I have received is lies, more lies, excuses and nobody taking accountability.</p> <p>If ever you have to deal with Craig and Kagiso (from Ibreak) and Tongesai from MTN Cresta i would recommend that you run and dont look back. They will make empty promises. They will smooth talk you and tell you that your request will be " escalated" and they will "Call You" but non of that happened.</p> <p>I was the one calling every week to follow up on my phone and every week the goal post moved and moved.</p> <p>I just hope to get my phone back and my money bag... i dont want to have any further engagements with such bad service.</p>

<p>I booked my iPhone 5 for repair of a charging port on 6 June 2016 at a cell phone repair shop iBreak in Randburg, Northriding. Shop 1A Northland Corner at corner of New Market and Witkoppen roads. To date, the phone has not been returned and the manager is not offering compensation.</p> <p>I contacted the shop many times through visits and phone calls since June 2016 to date. At first they told me they ordered the part to be repaired and they will call me when the part has arrived. They never called.</p> <p>After weeks of follow up they then told me that the phone is fixed but it is at their offsite storage. They again told me they will go get the phone and let me know when to come and collect. That has since been their story. To date I do not have my iPhone 5 back.</p> <p>The manager, Nick Barnes, is very dodgy and does not attend to queries. He is always said to be in a meeting whenever there is a query. Throughout the period of my query, I spoke to him only once and he lied that he will collect the phone from their storage and call me to pick it up, which he never did. <p>I had my iphone's battery changed out by them only to realize that i had lost all my data and my phone got stuck in a continuous restart loop, i kept going back and fourth with them for 2 weeks until the issue was fixed but now the technician broke my screen which took another week to replace. I really hope people stop using these guys rather use certified guys save yourself the time and money. </p>
