Empty Promises & Endless Excuses – Constant de Witt is All Talk.

I’m sharing this post to warn others about my recent experience with ICE Construction, run by Constant De Witt and Magda van Zyl.

I hired them to complete roofing work at my property, including the installation of wooden beams and a JoJo tank system. I paid an 80% deposit, as per the agreement, but the job was left incomplete — despite countless promises, delays, and excuses. To date, the work remains unfinished, and I have received no refund or proper resolution.

I have proof of payment, communication records, and photos of the incomplete work, which I’m willing to share with anyone considering using their services.

Please be cautious. I’m speaking out because I do not want others to experience the same financial loss and frustration. If ICE Construction resolves this matter, I will gladly update this post.

I have reported the issue to the relevant industry bodies and am pursuing legal action to recover the outstanding value. If you’ve had a similar experience, feel free to reach out — we may have grounds for joint action.
