We received very good service from Anso at Volvo Bloemfontein. She really wants to do business and went the extra mile to do a deal. Thank you, Anso! The other dealerships can learn a lot from you.

What an experience.... I bought my Volvo from Bloemfontein in 2018. The initial experience from Anso was next level customer service. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase and the process. 3 years later....and nothing has changed. I took my car in just for an oil top up and the service manager Abrie was so accommodating that he did my 60 000kms service as well. time saved on my side, definitely. everyone at Volvo Bloemfontein from the managers to the drivers are so friendly, polite and courteous. Thank you Anso, Abrie and team. I appreciate your assistance and will recommend your branch any day.

In December 2018 I bought a Volvo s60 T3 2014 powershift, from this dealership. After trading in my Mazda 2, 1.5 Dynamic, I was assisted by Shakes Mopasi the sales person. Since I bought this Volvo I never had a peace of mind, the car was due for service when I bought it. In January 2019 I took the vehicle to them for a major service of 160000 kilometers, but they only did a oil change as per request of Shakes Mopasi. In February 2019 the car had the problem with the engine, I took it back again. They said I might be the sensors, they tried to claim from the warranty but the claim was rejected. Due to the service that was not done properly, in April 2019 I took the car back to them again. They allegedly changed the engine, of which I'm not convinced, the car was with them till May 2019. Until I took it in June 2019 the engine light reappeared again, I took the the car back to them again. They tried to claim from the warranty and the claim was rejected again, they allegedly fixed the car. In Sept 2019 the engine light reappeared again but I never went back to them. In March 2020 my gearbox started leaking due to lock down they were closed, In June 2020 I took the car back to them, they told me to pay 80000 for the gearbox. But I did not have that money, in August 2020. I took my car from them, as we speak the engine that was allegedly replaced is having a problem in less than two years. And I can't claim from the warranty because of the incorrect service, and the missing service records. At the moment I've taken the matter up with MIOSA, the past two years of my life have been a living hell because of Imperial auto volvo Bloemfontein. I would never encourage anyone to buy cars from them due to my experiences.

I serviced my car at Imperial Volvo Bloemfontein a while back. The service cost me R23 000. I did not get a call to hear if everything were OK after the service. The car is idling unevenly after the service and the engine stalled a few times (It is a automatic car). I did write a mail 2 times to Volvo's customer care Mail adress. I did get automated replies to tell me they would respond within 24h of receiving the mail. I still did not hear anything from them. This has now been more than a month, whithout any reply, so I would really not recommend any Volvo in South Africa to anyone due to the following: 1. Because of the poor service we received from Imperial Volvo in Bloemfontein. 2. Because of absolutely no reply to any of my previous complaints to the customer relations E-mail address. 3. Because of the cost to keep the car running. There is no option for a oil-change service if you did not drive the 15000 km within a year. We had to pay for a 160000 km service, while the car now only has 98000 km on the clock. 4. Because the build of the cars is not of high standard. This Volvo is the 1st car that I owned, that had a door lock stop working. (my 40 year old Mercedes still have all the central locking locks working). The safety-belt release button stopped working. The airbag needs an urgent service. The turbo broke, (that were fortunately while the car were still quite new and under the "service plan" so it were a free fix. I were interested in buying a new XC90 for a replacement, but Volvo is now at the bottom of my list.

My spouse's (married in community of property) car finance transaction approved without my consent, and I was not party to it because I knew that he did not qualify. He is now off employment as the contract has expired. This causes a burden to the entire family psychologically and economically. I need to follow process to get the transaction nullified so as to safe him and make the dealership review their ethics policy if it does not well capture this kind of practice.

Really not happy with Imperial volvo Bloemfontein's aftersales dept. Exactly 10000km after buying our volvo from them our turbo charger broke, causing smoke and noise ,after calling them and telking them this they said, that i needed to claim it from my external warranty which is fine ,i did , got a call from the external warranty guys. They told me that the claim was rejected. I called volvo they told me there is nothing they can do and i have to sort it out myself because that is not his dept no one was really willing to help finally after 7 weeks of struggle with the warranty company my turbo was finally replaced eventhough the turbo still does not kick in, i called volvo again still waiting for them to get back to me. Aftersales sucks oh yeah according to volvo my car was serviced before delivery but no proof of that.
