I and my brother khaya we bought gearbox, we were communiting with Herbett and told him we are looking Chevrolet Sonic gearbox and he said they do have a gearbox @ R800, we even send the picture of the checrolet sonic automatic.We learn after bought the gearbox that its not the same. We were ab is. The issue is we want them to buy gearbox for at just engine where find the exactly same gearbox(6T30), imperium sell as gearbox for Chevrolet cruse which (6T45) which is big than Chevrolet sonic. We want the refund or they buy us the gearbox that is Chevrolet sonic automatic

Bought a part in November2024 didn’t need or end up even using it. With being out of town most of December I was unable to inquire with regards to if they would be willing to purchase the part back for a discounted rate from what I paid initially. Was put in contact with the General Manager Quinton on the 3rd of January 2025 where he advised me it’s a fast selling part they’d be open to doing the purchase. And I should send through the details on WhatsApp he will be in contact with me after speaking to the salesman who initially help me when I purchased said part. Tried calling numerous times -no answer. Messaged him the 13th January requesting an update on when I could come in and see him as initially discussed. No answer or acknowledgment to my message whatsoever eventually got hold of him 16 January 2025 and he advised me he’s not in pe I should call Monday morning the 20th January, needless to say he was unreachable again! Called the kempstone road branch and spoke to a lady as per her they call her “plankies” she reassured me high and low she will get my message to him and his PA and get back to me. The following day I called and a male answered, I asked directly for “plankies” his reply was please hold she is available let me call her. Shirley after that another lady took the call and said unfortunately said person is currently in a meeting, I told her that’s odd because I was just told she’s available but okay can I speak to another manager. Suddenly plankies was available immediately. Assured me she hasn’t forgotten and told me he’s not in Kempstone office and is busy at the Sidwell branch. I called sidwell branch and spoke to his PA directly on the 24th January, she said he’s out of office but can she schedule a meeting for Monday the 27th of January at 11:00am. I was on time for my meeting I then was referred to the waiting room, Bernice his PA cam to me and said his previous meeting ran late but she’s just gotten off the phone with him and he is on his way. Needless to say I sat there waiting for a whole hour! She then comes to inform me he’s still busy the meeting is running late HOW!!! When she initially told me he is on his way? Extremely disappointed and put off by the lack of professionalism by the general manager with regards to never being available and having me wait a whole hour just to not show up! All I wanted was that he discusses this with a sales person and gives them the go ahead to purchase the unused part back from me. But I have now been going back and forth even right now it’s the 29th and no feedback or a phone call!!! Even now I’ve requested a email address for another manager my message was deliver at 08:09 and read at 08:13 and I have been left in blue tick, it is now 09:00

We bought a car part at this spares shop in Haupt Street, Port Elizabeth. We evaluated the part and saw that it was a defect upon returning they advised they can not give us a refund even if their website says - no-nonsense reliable parts! This is a lie as the part is not reliable!
