The place was extremely dirty,my body was itchy the whole time. I couldn’t sleep! The headboard was full of dust and the toilet was filthy. We checked out before our intended departure and they refunded us for one night.

Had great service from a lady named Nicci in the restaurant at Indaba Lodge... She assisted us with the Reservations and even helped us choose the best meals from the menu. For the first time, I have experienced such good service at that restaurant

I phoned to make a booking on the 26th of April... Booking for the 3rd of June. Spoke to the lady called Nonhlanhla who finalised my bookings and said I will pay when I come to check in.... Called again on the 29th of May just to check if everything was still under controlled and to confirm that I am still coming on the 3rd. Nanad when the 3rd came and when we were about to check in they told me that the accommodation was cancelled because they couldn't reach me on the phone or whatever their reasons were. And I asked them to show me their call history and records that prove that they tried to contact me. Their white ****** manager called Rudi was very rude towards us.... He told us where to get off nabnad that they have no rooms for us. We were from Gauteng and we were stranded at NRB because the unprofessional lodge decided to cancel our booking on the day we were supposed to check in. They are so unprofessional and their manager is a ****** mother****er!

i am a registered CA(SA) , and have been a CA(SA) since 1978. i have attended the CFO Finance INDABA for many years with no problem. THIS YEAR < MY REGISTRATION WAS DECLINED < BECAUSE MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS @HOTMAIL and @GMAIL , email addresses that i have used for years in my professional capacity. it is ludirous that i do not qualify as a FINANCE PROFESSIONAL because of my email address. what a joke !!!!

These people didn't respond to my lunch buffet booking after sending them 2 emails and 2 phone calls, I hardly ever complain but this really got to me, it's just poor customer service if I could I would give them a zero for absolutely no assistance given and for wasting my airtime, data and time. I'm beyond disappointed.

I booked a Baptisimal lunch for my family and I on the 27th of November. Upon entering the restaurant's entrance, I slipped, fell and landed on my head while holding my 9 month old baby in my arms. The entrance was wet and they only put the signs on after I fell. My hips were terribly sore but what is even scarier is how badly my infant could have been injured due to the hotel's negligence. I wrote email after email and until today I have not heard from them. Please consider other places in the area for meals.

I have made a payment of which was more by R102 and I have send communication with the manager she requested I send a confirmation from the bank and I have been saying this since payment date even now 2weeks later I still have not received my money I Mean R102 is too small for a hotel to request my whole DNA

Yesterday (02 September 2019) I ordered a takeaway container to be delivered to my room 318 at about 20:30 and a white tall gentleman deliver the container indeed. What shocked me was how after I opened the door, he stormed past me at the door and stood in my room and greeted us. Luckily my partner had just finished dressing up. What if she was naked? Is this how you treat paying customers? With absolutely no respect? In my understanding he was supposed to stand by the door, kindly confirm whether I am correct. My privacy was rudely violated and this did not sit well with me. Is this how Indaba train its people to behave? Is this the image you instructed him to paint of your lodge? What was he looking for that he couldn’t ask me at the door or ring my room? Was it because I am a black man and as such always engaged in criminal activities? I have been traveling to Richards Bay every week since 2017 and have stayed in every hotel and lodge in Richards Bay, no one has ever managed to do what he did to me. Stripped me of my dignity and made me feel like I was nothing, all while I was paying. Even if he is the manager he has no right to invade my privacy the way he did.
