I Ordered a cartridge bundle from "Ink Star" online and paid for 4 (four) "compatible" cartridges for my Canon printer and when they eventually arrived (no printed invoice supp**** to check the delivery), one of the cartridges was well past its expiry date and the others were not far off either. I needed to print immediately and had to install the cartridges. The order was placed on Ink Star, distributed by Ink Station and the contact for returns etc. was Ink Station. Ref: 7378 Another shipment arrived with the same order a day later and instead of keeping the extra set, I thought that I had let them know via their WhatsApp number, also noting the expired cartridge. The contact person on the waybill that came with this set was Felicia from Ink Station. The person that responded on WhatsApp was Lesleigh. She/they were all too happy to arrange the collection of the extra set. However, the expired cartridge has leaked creating a mess (Which I had to clean, especially with having children around) and causing my printer to malfunction and when I contacted them via WhatsApp, enquiring about the warranty, and again the next day, the messages were read (double blue ticks) and ignored. My query relating to the warranty on their "compatible" cartridges" was answered with radio silence. It also seemed quite suspicious to have 3 websites for the same business; inkstation.co.za; printstation.co.za and inkstar.co.za. I ordered online from Ink Star and order was received from Ink Station. The account on the Ink Star profile has the invoice but there is no account on Ink Station to view said invoice who are apparently the contact people for returns etc. I had initially posted under Ink Station and after posting my initial review; which was apparently removed because it was under the incorrect business name and that it was against terms to do so, I was called from Ink Station requesting photos of the leaking cartridge to escalate. After sending the images I received a WhatsApp message stating that the owner would be coming to see me. I thought it was strange that the owner would come out to see me, and suspected that something was amiss. And so, I had the "pleasure" of dealing with Kurt Ericson. He arrived at his convenience with no prior notification of a time for when he would arrive and called me from a "private/hidden" cell number (I normally do not answer hidden/private numbers) when he was at the front gate. And I can certainly corroborate with the review of Lizelle M regarding the level of arrogance, especially that which was received. I had to again ask for warranty details and was eventually given basic information; "6-month warranty or an empty cartridge.", also stating that the warranty information was on the invoice (no warranty information was present on the invoice downloadable from Ink Star hence my query relating to the warranty). The cartridge was still within the supposed "6 month" period; however, the ink had all the leftover ink had leaked out and I was accused of using all the ink to print with, essentially being labelled as mendacious. Apparently, the requirement is that there must be at least 60% ink volume left in the cartridge to be returned. The cartridges still in the printer, Cyan, Magenta, and Black were at more than 60%. I was also told that the cartridge was not leaking and that they in fact do leak from time to time and that removing the cartridge would cause it to leak, and that a printer does not have the capability to warn of a leaking cartridge. However, to make my point clear that it was indeed leaking, I removed the Magenta cartridge which had ink in it and the ink did not flow like an open tap as the one that was leaking or at all for that matter. A proper explanation sought from my demonstration was not forthcoming, and all I got was, "I'm sorry, I cannot help you… the ink tank is empty." Upon questioning the reason for the 3 separate websites / businesses; "That's a weird question!" was the reply that was given to me by Kurt with a rather poor explanation. Clearly a business not in the least bit concerned about customer service or customer relations.

I highly recommend Ink Star for all your printer ink needs. As a regular customer, I have always received great service from them. Their online ordering system is easy to use and my orders always arrive in record time. Additionally, their customer service is top-notch - any time I have needed assistance, they have been quick to respond via email or phone. Overall, Ink Star is a reliable and efficient choice for all your ink needs.

Koop eerder oorspronklik. Hul naam sal hul vooruit loop.

Really poor service from Ink Star, the company is unethical in their business ways. They sell you cartridges which are almost empty, when you return it in the original packaging they weigh it and say you've used the ink, and refuse to refund you. Unfortunately honest customers is at a loss here. Also the cartridges is not compatible as they would claim on their website. Karma...what goes around comes around. Please do not buy from them! What a rip off company

As an online retailer I found that the companies stock availability did not match the advertised products. They did then reach out and find stock for the item ordered but the item description, picture and product code did not match. Upon delivery it was realised the wrong product was shipped and their response was that the description was valid and the product code and picture were for display purposes only. Would not trust these companies as online retailers.

Although the purchasing & delivery was seamless, the product received is a rip-off! Their own brand 'compatible' cartridges is about 1/3 of originals' cost, but the cartridges themselves are only 1/3 full as well... Would cost same to just buy the originals. Have sent this to Inkstar's admin@ and info@ email addresses on 29/01/2021 and follow-up on 02/02/2021, with pictures of just-opened package with clearly low ink levels, as well as the printer's Ink Level monitor software immediately after installing them (confirming the 1/3 full); but no reply or acknowledgment at all :( I would not recommend them for 1) zero interest in after-sales care if client has problems and 2) you do NOT actually save money by using them.

I recently ordered ink cartridges from inkstar.co.za and it was a pleasure. I was a bit worried initially because I never heard of them before, and could not find much about them on the net, and this is the main reason that I writing this review, so other people will realize how good was my experience. The delivery was quite quick, and the cartridges that I bought are grey colour, which is so difficult to find a generic make online, but they had it, and the price was excellent as well. I will definitely buy from them again.
