Nightmare service and quality
I have placed a order with Iron-Steel (PTY) LTD ********** / ********** for a new double carport and garage door on . We got them through Snupit. On the 6th of December 2018 they gave us a quote and we accepted and paid the deposit of R14 300.00 they then confirmed to start the job on 12 December 2018, verbally completed by the 14th of December 2018. This did not happen, they come around in drips and drags and we paid them another R5 500.00 on the 18th of December 2018 when they initially started. Up to today the job is still not completed and workman ship is poor and the quality of material is poor. We would like them to remove the poor job and material of our property and refund us to the value of R19 800.00 as they are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Carport disaster job
Early Dec '18 --Iron-Steel started off with good service,deposit payments made...but it became a fiasco. Workers were dropped off with pre cut poles, which turned out to be too short after it was cemented. A badly excecuted "correction" followed. Delays in completing the job started, communication via telephone/email/sms/whatsap with this company became near impossible. Eventually after 3 weeks structure was up - 3m x 3m instead of 3m x 5m, no finishing & clean up of cemented area, then was told that the price did not include paint, net cover fastened with cable ties. Promises of fixing the whole thing has not been honoured. Since found out that some staff members who I dealt with, is no longer employed there. Calls & emails still go unanswered. Have to get someone else to fix this. Names of people dealt with: Shannon - manager/admin/partner ?/ not employed any longer. Jonathan - site supervior? Stanley - welder/ not emplyed by Iron-steel any longer. Do not make use if this company.

Patio roof nightmare
Did not have a good experience with them. Contracted them to move a shade net and erect a steel patio roof. Paid R16 000 deposit. They moved the shade net but the brackets have already come loose. They only erected the basic frame of the patio roof on 10 January 2019 and still have not returned to complete the job. Never delivered the Chromodek sheets. After 12 days of excuses and false promises from the owner, Marko, I now have to get someone else to complete and redo much of the work.
