Fish crums for dinner
Two weeks ago I bought a box of I&J Fish bakes 6 crumbed fish portions garlic and parsley 360g from Shoprite Eldorado. On Thursday evening when I opened the box to fry the portions it was only crums there was no whole pieces like it shows on the box. Very dissatisfied. It's like we having fish crums for dinner.

I’ve tried about 6 products from I&J so far this year, and I can’t tell you how disappointed I’ve been with each & every single product I’ve tried! their chicken patties, burger patties, fish cakes & fish fingers look great from outside until you try them.

Serious intervention needed for this BAD service
cousin passed on 03 January 2023, he was working at I&J fishing company. The family has NOT received the Provident Fund, and it's so unfair, and unprofessional and they do not even bother to update the family. It's been almost 2 years now, but still nothing and no communication. South Africa please assist, that family is struggling. The HR department is completely silent about the matter.

MISREPRESENTING THE CONSUMER - BURGERS NOT PANNEKOEK!
I&J Frozen food products. Beef burger patties! Such bad MISREPRESENTATION of food I question is fit for human consumption. The box shows what looks like a respectable burger patty......BUT WAIT.......... Upon unboxing this product I had to go fetch my spectacles as when I looked at the burger patties side on - I could not see anything. I went to buy a "hamburger patty" not a "PANCAKES"! Then I cooked the product which resembled the old R1 coin, (bit of exaggeration) but c'mon guys, to spend about R100 on this and really inside is a cardboard cut-out of what should be a burger patty. When I approached I&J Customer services, they had me go take it up with the retail outlet I purchased it from - nothing like passing the buck - great business ethics this, clearly you have little regard for your customers? This is not OK's problem it is yours - ******* product - FULL STOP!!!! The pictures say it all - cardboard surrounded in ice-flakes, Sealed packages, never been opened. Thanks, I&J and I gues we must rate you as "truly South African".......phstttttttt! OH....what a pity, no option for photographs! PUBLIC BE WARNED - COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION!!!

POOR QUALITY AND JUST GROSS
Very sad that i feel i have to do this because i actually LOVE I&J's products unfortunately our last experience was terrible . we had so much fish bones and fish scales still on the battered covered Hake it was quite gross I honestly understand that 100% of all the bones cant be taken out I can only imagine that it must be very difficult to take them out but it spoilt a meal for the entire family which we also bought a big box of since we eat this on a regular basis to find a bone in here and there is one thing but it was like the quality was just getting worse it doesn't taste the same and to pick apart the fish piece by piece just to take out scales and bones is not my or my family's ideal meal . so disappointed !

Maximize profits minimise quality
Bought a bulk 60 piece hake the large ones. It was so dissopointing. I would think 2 parts of the make up was batter and the fish 1 part ir less. Terrible taste. Wasted over R900. You only taste batter.
