Their system is so poor. You will send them proof of payment and they tell you wait till it reflects in our account. That time your electricity is of. Meaning you have only one option which is immediate payment at your own cost plus their daily fee and switching on fee. These people are trying to make our lives as customers difficult in an economy that is already costly.

The worst services ever, Its been 3 weeks in a row since i have been told that the system has been upgraded and im unable to purchase electricity however I need to contact the office with my airtime to require services , one waits on line until they decide to pick up, also do immediate payment for IS Metering to assist to buy the token every time. this is annoying cause its like im forcing services which no one seems to no how to solve my issues. this is upseting and my patience has ran out. as everytime for 3 weeks they telling me it will be resolved soon , what is soon???? the worst its only myself that is experiencing that issue ,others in the same complex their meters has been resolved only me...

I an issue with my Meter box not allowing me topup for three days. I called the second day however without luck, the issue was still there. I called today and I spoke to Ian or Eein. The dude assisted me in an hour and even called me back. Dude your company should be proud that you are working for them. Thanks a lot. Thando

They switched my lights off beacuse I did not pay the bill on the date I didn't know my bill was due. My bill is always due on the 5th, however I immediately paid the bill and also the reconnection fee. Where one of their staff said that it should be reconnected within 8 hrs from 10:00 am to 22:14 pm that 11+ hours. As I write this review I am in the dark, IS metering they do not know how to treat customers, I suggest you close down and let customers deal with the Municipality straight.

I have just purchased prepaid electricity for R2500... I got electricity to the value of R1 961.42. What happened to the R538.58? Please can I have a breakdown of your charges as I find this totally unacceptable. At the beginning of the month I also bought for R2500 and I got electricity to the value of R 1 825.41....again there was a difference of R674.59. In just one month you charged me R1213.17 !!! This is the email I have sent directly you you guys with no response so maybe I will get a reply here.

I bought units on 27/8/2023, the meter said units were rejected. Keep in mind my units were already low. The next day, 28/8/2023, I called the number on their website at 09:31 and was told the meter system was offline and when the system is offline they will load the units i paid for (this has also happened many times before). I called again at 12:59 and was told the system is up again and the units were going to be uploaded soon and have nothing to worry about. At 16:30 i saw the units were still not loaded and my remaining units were now running critically low, i decided to call the number again where i was told multiple times I'm the 1st caller in line and the phone got hung up on me, this happened 4 times, in total i was on hold for 23 minutes with no answer. It is now 17:53 and my units will not last the night, this is a warning to iS Metering: if anything goes off in my fridge/freezer, any appliance breaks or overloads or malfunctions because of no units/ low voltage supply/high voltage supply, i will send the bill of repairs/replacement to you.
