I bought a pair of headpones (JBL BT NC770) and I had them for less than a year. The one headphone broke still under warranty. When I sent them back in to be repaired, I was told that they cannot be repaired as it was a user fault. All I use the headphones is for eating in my own house, nothing exertive and yet, the headphones breaking is my fault? The quality isn't great either. I would not recommend buying this or anything from JBL because it's not worth it.

I am truly disappointed with the quality of my JBL 720 BT headphones which were gifted to me last year September. And I am also truly disappointed in the incredible connection in south africa. The headphones were bought from the store in Canal Walk Cape Town, last year September. Not even 6 months later, the ear piece, which rotates 180 degrees, broke. I really take good care of my things, I have a headphone stand at home for this, so I really had nothing to do with it breaking. I had taken it to the Gateway branch, as I live in Durban. They had told me that they get quite similar issues from other customers. So why sell these products, if it is a manufacturer fault? The headphones were R1700, that is a lot of money, and for this company, to immediately blame the customer, is absolute nonsense. JBL if this is the quality of your headphones then you should not be selling it. I would rather buy products from Sony or Apple, because my trust in your brand is gone. These headphones have a 1 year warranty, there is a receipt with it and yet Incredible Connection will do nothing about it, I am 23 years old, I work hard for my things, and companies taking advantage of customers like this, is wrong. I hope that this reaches the right ears and something gets done about it. The durban store manager who was not so helpful is Mohamed Shaick and the so called warranty examiner is Nelson Pillay, at the Gateway branch.

When I bought your product from Makro, an USA company, which is situated in the Capital city, Pretoria, of the country where I live, South Africa, I was promised the best after sales service possible. Now I have come to know numerous shocking terrible facts: 1. There is no after sales service in our country, South Africa and now I have to rely upon a sales service in England which I find, to say the least, unacceptable, unprofessional and disgusting. 2. I have been communicating with your office, Harman, for numerous times now, one question after the other, one excuse after the other, this is too big, that is too small, too less information, too much information, always having an excuse to solve the problems I have currently. 3. In short, I just want to notify you, that I am going to be the biggest fly in your ointment. Your sales will drop like you have never seen in my country, because I am going to report you at Hello Peter which is a sales platform of bad companies and services. 4. I really do not have the time or energy anymore to take up this matter with you. 5. I see this case as closed. 6. May your company be prosperous in the rest of the world.

My first JBL speaker was an exceptional piece of equipment, sadly it was ******. I replaced it with a JBL Flip 4. What a disaster. The battery did not last long and now I have to continually lower volume because the audio quality cuts and distorts on the peaks. Stay away from this brand.

I bought a 2.0 Soundbar and low and behold switched it off one day and just never came back on. Please believe me you do not get after sale service from JBL, they sent me from pillar to post and at one Audio and TV repair shop the owner laughed as I walked in with my JBL box, he said JBL never have spares to have the units fixed he didn't even want to give me a quote. The JBL repair agents Mastercare in Centurion, which JBL sent me to had a R150 book in fee, no problem, then if they give me a quote and I do not except another R680 what a joke, so lets say its true JBL do not have spares to repair the units, they can give a quote of R2k and you will unaccept as it's just to expensive so they know they will make money... Made contact with JBL again and said they will investigate with Mastercare... Really why not ask me to get their own product and see if they can have it fixed...

I am shocked at the lack of support from this company I bought earpods and have hardly used them They are faulty and i cannot get any assistance from JBL to even look at them The contact that i did make does not even respond to his mails (RYAN)

Purchased a jbl sound bar and sub valued over R6000 from makro only for it to last me just through the warranty (1year) It now comes on only when it wants to , took it back to makro and apparently they can't help with anything, looks like that brands that we invest our money in are proving to be us just paying for a name, so disappointed I will never recommend the brand .
