Don't use J.C.Pretorius & assosiates!
If you are thinking of using Jan of J.C Pretorius & associates just DON'T! They claim that they are fast online attorneys... He gave my mom a quote and she had to pay 50% beforehand (which she did). He told her she need to pay the rest before he goes to court (which was also fine) a week or 2 later he said he is going to court and my mom's need to pay the rest immediately (which she did). He told her he will send a link so that she can watch the court proceedings as she doesn't have to go to court herself. After a couple of days she asked him for the link and suddenly it was postponed. It went on like that for months. Atlast it was the day of the divorce...then he phoned her and told her now it's suddenly a closed court and she needs an advocate BUT luckily there is an advocate he knows that's there but she needs to pay another couple of thousands to cover his bill and she needs to do it fast as the advocate wants to go buy beer! Yes really! But again she paid... Now she needs the court order to register the divorce at home affairs (yes apparently he doesn't do that) and MONTHS had passes. He doesn't answer his phone or emails. We are helpless and at the mercy of really lazy and arrogant lawyers. In the end the fees was exactly the same as any other lawyer there's just more headaches.
