Good pricing but bad installation experience.

Dealing with Johann was good even though my initial order had to change due to the lack of stock (after paying for the goods. Their pricing is good however I ran into a few issues with the installer (Luke)

The issue I had is that his installer said it would be a better idea to install the inverter (Growatt 5000 Es) and battery in my passage (next to my db board), which is adjacent to the bedrooms. I was told that the inverter would not be noisy and there would be some noise when it charges or when there are large loads on the unit. He was very hestitant to consider any installation spots that I suggested (I suppose since the installation cost was already agreed upon and paid).

As a specialist installer - I trusted his advice and the inverter was installed. The noise is unbearable and I now have to manually switch over each time we have load shedding. I also have to fork out another large sum of money to have the unit moved to the garage.

Schools fees paid - and I know now to get multiple installation quotes and options. All other installers I spoke to laughed at the fact that it was installed inside - next to the bedrooms…

Unfortunately JC Solar lost out on a potentially good customer that was looking at continuously upgrading.

In summary - purchasing the hardware was easy but JC Solar Panels fell short on their installation.
