I just want to show my gratitude to D$J Coachwork as specially to the owner, Johnathan. Thanks for the perfect work and in the timeframe, it was done. The motor look as good as new. They also clean the car so well it was basically a valet. Thanks to all involved. Annalien Crafford

Be warned, do not use this workshop, the owner and staff are unprofessional, *********** and will ***** from you as well. You can read other reviews from this website, it’s all true as I can confirm that I have experienced the same with them. My vehicle went in for repairs as appointed by Discovery. A 5 day job became 2 months and additionally they burnt my vehicles ECU while in their care. I was without a vehicle for much of this time. At then end of the investigation I was blamed for the damages and had to find my own repairer at my own cost. The electrical damages are significant. Things are even worse, I by mistake paid them as per the insurance process the excess fee twice, they are yet to refund me after numerous emails, WhatsApp and phone calls. The owner became obnoxious and aggressive claiming he had tolerated me for far too long. I will be taking the entire matter to court in due course. Both Discovery, Salvo and J&D Coachworks must be approached with great CAUTION. For now, BE WARNED, they are *********** AND UNPROFESSIONAL. You will see their response, they will attempt to turn the story around and play the victim.

Had my vehicle repaired and spray painted recently by J & D Coach Works. Awesome work carried out. From the Receptionist to Shafiek, well done. Courteous, friendly, returning calls as promised. Well done. Standard of workmanship is excellent. Highly recommended

I will never do business with J&D Coachworks again. Hope my insurance company 1st for Woman will not let other clients go through what I am going through. My vehicle was in an accident on 4/5/2021. I was informed by 1st for Woman that my vehicle is going to Island Auto in Paarden Island to be repaired. After a month on hearing nothing, I contacted the insurance Assesor who said my verchile is at Island Auto. I asked if its possible to follow up, he said yes I may go follow up with them. I went to Island Auto & found that my verchile is not there. The assistant phoned Island Auto in Brackenfell they said my verchile was there. They sent it to J & D Coachworks. I phoned the insurance 1st for Woman they were not aware that my verchile was there. The assessor said he will enquire and contact me. He never did. I contacted him again and again, sent messages and whatsapp. Eventually I got hold of him, he said I may go follow up on my vehicle. I phoned J&D spoke to the owner Jonathan. He confirmed my vehicle is there. I asked if I can come & see how far my vehicle is. When I got to J&D Coachworks I met the owner's son Austin. He took us to the vehicle which they were busy with. I noticed more damages to my vehicle and immediately I pointed it out to him, he said they only fix what the insurance pay them for. Which I understood. I contacted 1st for Woman assessor again, he said don't worry everthing will be fixed. I received a call from Debbie of J&D asking what was the errors on my vehicle. I told her & also showed Austin everything. She said that it is OK. We kept on following up, but nothing happened. 3 weeks ago I received a call from Debbie to say my vehicle will be ready in 2 days time I need to pay the excess of R8000 she will send me the bank details. I asked my brother to go check if my vehicle is done so that I can pay them. Finding that my battery was removed & replaced with an old one. Vehicle did not start, Wiper motor did not work. Sills was not fixed which was damaged by the hyster. I phoned Johnathan & I was furious. He ask to give him a week to fix it. We can collect last Thursday. I went Thursday to my disappointment I found. Nutts missing on both front wheels. Inner door canvas was loose, left side mirror did not work and sills still not fixed. Vehicle did not even start & many other things wrong. Vehicle had more damages than when it went in from accident scene. I was furious. The son Austin had an attitude saying he will contact us the next day. He never did. I phoned the assessor who assured me everything will be fixed. I phoned Johnathan he was going to come back to me but never did. Is this how 1st for Woman treat their clients as I made many calls to them but their is never a senior or manager available also never returned a call. I am without a vehicle for more than 3 months, yet I am still paying insurance which is in the insurance possession.

WE had our company vehicle (limousine) resprayed at J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd 10 Birmingham Cl, Airport Industria 1, Cape Town

Went for a quote and dealt with the owner Jonathan Moore. At first he quoted us R15000.The owner was kind enough to give us a good price of R13000. Jonathan informed us that the job will take 5 days.

Vehicle went in on the 8 May 2017 and received a call to collect vehicle on the 12 May 2017. Wow we were blown away how stunning the vehicle looked.

Then started vehicle ready to leave and the car started smoking by the engine.OMW this can't be... We gave the vehicle mechanically sound to J&D Coach works. Opened the bonnet, only to find transmission fluid squirting all over the engine. The Power steering pipe had a hole in it. One of the guys took tape to cover hole so we could get home at least. While driving, it felt like the vehicle was pulling heavy. This was quite strange. Got home thank God, I got out of vehicle and there was smoke coming from the back wheels. I wasn’t sure if I should feel happy because the vehicle looked smart but on the other hand I was experiences all these problems with the vehicle. The car was in the care of J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd for one week.

I decided to take the vehicle to our mechanic and the bill was R5458.50 later. We discovered that the hand brake cable snapped and the back wheels locked, had to replace the handbrake shoes. After the repair we took the vehicle straight to J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd. Spoke to the owner Jonathan Moore and he said that he will only contribute towards the hand brake job. Jonathan Moore agreed to pay R1850 on 23 May 2017. I sent off my bank details to Jonathan Moore and he replied that he will do EFT and it will take 2 days to clear in my account. I checked on the 25 May no money received. I called Jonathan Moore and he said that he did transfer the money. I sent Jonathan Moore a message on the 27 May, No reply, went to J&D Coachworks Pty Ltd on the 29 May, Jonathan Moore was not there.

Sent messages to his phone, he replied, R1850 is little money for him, his wife will EFT money again on the 02 June. Money will clear in 2 days. Waited until the 7 June, still no money in my account. I decided to go to J&D Coachworks on the 9 June; Jonathan Moore was not in due to being very busy. I decided to call Jonathan Moore and he answered saying his wife will transfer the money on 12 June. Still no money on the 14 June,

I eventually sent Jonathan Moore a message to say he must stop messing me around and just pay the R1850 he agreed to pay. He replied I must stop messaging him and calling him and deal with the guys that work for him.

On this note I will never use J&D Coach works again. I really would not like another customer to experience what I had to go through. This is not how you treat a valuable customer.
