They sold us lies. They build me a house that is low . It cracker several times in a month and they refused to fix it properly. They also gave me astove that trips electricity everyday and not fixing . The yard was full of grass and not level and they refused to come level it as they promised when handling over the house to me that they will come fix it by the construction guy Kobus and Stuart. The doors have space and when it rains it comes inside the house

On the 09 January 2026 there was Thunderstorm at Mamelodi that effect my roof of my bond house loan House. On the 12 January 2026 i submitted a claim with Nedbank which they are saying they can't assist me in fixing the roof of the house because it my responsibility to monthly maintenance on the house on a monthly basis. My concerned is that I'm paying them Monthly to cover my two houses. I have never skip Monthly payment since i bought this house to them since 2005. So i'm trying to seek e legal Opinion on this matter

I applies for a house in 2022 November .new development I waited until last year. In February the started purchasing the land and promised that it will take 3 month to build the house. They only started to build in August mind you manicipality I found out yesterday was charging me from February last year for empty land and didn't even receive statements. Manicipality was charging me R783 monthly from February to June and it increased the rates from July I was charged R821 for empty land . In August when they started building housing for all was suppose to pay for all installations of water, sewer and Electricity and water usage for building the house . That month only I was charged more than RR12000 and they claim it was my rates and taxes . I started to move in the house Sunday 01 of June 2025. I couldn't load electricity . I went to Manicipality only to find out I Owe R20000 on my account .I tried to talk to housing for all to fix this as it is not possible for a person to be billed R12000 a month for rates and taxes but they told me they only owe R190 and they don't know what else manicipality was charging me for . They handed over to me a house that is filthy in the yard ,full of grass and the yard not leveled.when it rains water goes inside the house. What they sold me on the picture and what they saying now it is something that is not good. They told me it is not their responsibility to level the yard or remove the grass . This people they took their time not building because they know they will not be billed by manicipality and they not paying full the installation bills. My house was fully financed by my bank but I entered the house that owes R20000 and they didn't explain this first day when signing or selling the houses to us ,they told us when all is signed that rates and taxes will be our responsibility but there is no way rates and taxes can be R20000 whey I was charged R783 for 15 months waiting for them to finish the house . I need them to fix the manicipal bill they owing and stop playing with people and be truthful when they sell houses to people on that they will pay for empty land while they take their time to start building so people can know who they are dealing with

I am writing to express my serious concern and frustration regarding the ongoing structural issues with my newly purchased home, which was funded and insured by Nedbank. The ceiling in my home collapsed within 8 months of moving in, and despite my repeated attempts to have this addressed, the situation remains unresolved. Incident Details: • On 5th February 2025, I reported the ceiling collapse to JFSHousing. Your response indicated that I should log a claim with my insurance provider, Nedbank. • On 6th February 2025, I submitted a claim to Nedbank Insurance regarding the ceiling collapse. However, after multiple follow-ups and complaints, my claim was rejected, citing a structural defect in the house. I was informed that, as the house is still new, JFSHousing (the developer) is responsible for addressing the issue. As of to date , the ceiling has collapsed again, and I am extremely concerned about the safety of my family, especially my children. The house is no longer safe for us to occupy, and given the fault in the structure, there is a serious risk of the roof collapsing at any moment. I am currently paying premiums for both my bond and my insurance, but I am left with an open roof and no assistance from either JFSHousing or Nedbank. This situation is unacceptable and has put my family at significant risk. I have proof of correspondence from the developer and rejection letter from the bank (NEDBANK) I'm helpless because my situation needs urgent attention more especially that im staying with minor kids and further taking into consideration the recent weather in my area currently .

The quality of this houses is so bad. Please don't buy houses with JFS, where Kobus is the developer. RDP houses are much better. The walls of houses are cracking both on the inside and outside. It has been even 4 months since we've been living here but it's a nightmare.
