Managing Agents.
Whilst residents (Generalisation) in Estates hate paying levies or conforming to the estate rules, they quickly blame their managing agent for *****ing their money when legal fees or interest become payable. JMVenter manage the estate I stay in and it’s run like clockwork. Queries attended to - quick, fast and in a hurry. Council issues like water, power or sewerage etc are handled pronto. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Always reachable. Hats off to them for a sterling job.

True partners in property management
I have been dealing JM Venter and team for many years now. Their level of commitment is beyond comparison and they always, always go the extra mile. From sorting out municipal accounts, getting power restored, dealing with unpaid levies to helping after hours to clean up after a thunder storm, they do it. A personal touch company that grow into a true partnership.

Not professional. They are biased and have failed to honour their promise to calculate interest charged for my levy statement after acknowledging that it was wrong. They even ignored an interim court order and charged me legal fees for being vocal

JM Venter - The biggest property management ****
The only thing they have managed to do is run our complex finances to the ground. Imagine portfolio managers that change every couple of months, never respond to queries, have *********** staff that inflate levies, introduce special levies without prior notice to owners and trustee agreements...I have queries that date back two years ago and recently about when an AGM will be held, as we're going on 3 years without an AGM. The level of secrecy, inconsistencies and utter disregard for people's assets does is tantamount to *****ulent behaviour! We are refused financials and most owners trying to sell their apartments in my complex are unable to because of this very reason. Portfolio managers? Hardly there. Never respond to queries. It has been an ongoing nightmare dealing with this company. I would have voted yhem out if I had absolute power. There is an owing balance of over R800k to Tshwane Municipality which they refuse to give feedback on but instead they introduce special levy after special levy. USELESS ****MERS

Ignorace and lack of transparency
We have been living in a complex which is associated with JM Venter and I am truly disgusted with the complete lack of account ability. We are owners, follow all rules and do pay our required fees, yet are treated with ignorance. I had to take further steps and yet the CSOS also recieves ignorance. Are we just cash ***s?

Complaints not being addressed
For the past 11 months, we have made several attempts to seek assistance from the trustee, but to no avail. Currently, a harassment letter has been sent to the managing agents, JM Venter Properties, and it has been confirmed via email that our complaints will not be addressed. When I brought these matters to JM Venter’s attention, MD Mitchelle stated that they would not assist us. We feel as though we are being treated inhumanely. We have been following the rules and do not believe we should be subjected to this unfair treatment. We have followed all the proper channels to have our issues heard, yet we continue to receive no assistance. JM Venter and the Body Corporate are not providing any solutions; for example, we submitted a complaint about noisy and vibrating pipes eight weeks ago, but nothing has been done to resolve it. The noise is disturbing our sleep and affecting my daughter’s performance in school. Moreover, when entering and exiting my home, I have been verbally attacked and ridiculed by the tenants of unit 2 in front of my daughter. This situation is truly unacceptable.
