I moved into this lovely flat the beginning of February 2021. All went well, until my partner decided to move out. He contacted Kainos property behind my back to confirm that he moved out. He and the one specific agent liked to talk behind my back and the voice notes broke my heart how she talked about me. Luckily I kept everything. Without any questions from the agent, they decided not to extend my lease agreement for the next year (2022) Both me and my partners name was on the lease agreement. I was the only one that paid the rent strictly on time. I had no choice to move out at the end of January 2021. To make a long story short - I paid double deposit when we moved in. Now Kainos do not want to pay my deposit back. I am honest when I say I could not afford to pay the rent for December, but they did not even bother to make alternative arrangements. Usually the owner is not on the premises when you exit the premises to hand over the keys - BUT in this case he came with the agent to inspect the property. The property was spotless. He found something of everything wrong at the premises. The brand new carpets was exactly the same when we moved in. Only a very tiny little burn (smaller than the old 5c piece). I cleaned the flat all by myself and did not get the change to wash the one bedroom wall. Now they say that the flat was not how I received it. When we moved into the flat the agent knew my daughter was highly pregnant. Agents by law is not allowed to put elderly or children out of a premises. Only the Court can decide to leave the premises. I told the agent that I have no friends or family - but it did not bother them. Me and my daughter has no where to go with a baby. In Afrikaans you call it "Dakloos". Kainos Property do not give a flying fish if you have a roof over your head or not. And still waiting for my deposit or even some of it after cleaning and what else.
