I worked for Karma. I know for a fact that 60% of everything they tell customers is a lie and our managers teach us how to deceive customers. In addition to that, Karma is also a **** to it's employees. Karma still owes me 2 weeks salary and they owe my ****orker even more. 80% of Karma Hoi An's salesmen quit within one month. That tells you something. They tell you they have 7,000 affiliates you can book with. In reality, you can only book with 20% of those affiliates. They want you to make a decades long commitment within a one hour meeting. They want you to make a 9k-15k purchase after just learning about it an hour or so ago. My ****orker who was salesman of the year for Karma Hoi An in 2023 told me that 25% of his customers who became a member eventually regret joining. He told me that one woman was crying hours after joining Karma because she realized the huge mistake she just made. I know this because my ****orker showed me text messages he received from those upset customers. Everything I just said is what I saw and learned from my time working as a salesman with Karma Group.

A few years ago we were offered a voucher in Nusadua by the shopping complex and also filled out the questionnaire and sat through the presentation until they wanted our credit card details. We won the free voucher for a 7 night stay at one of their resorts. Now so many years later this lady keep on phoning from so many different local numbers to get me to spend $150 booking fee over the phone to be able to book at one of their resorts. I feel like it's a scam to get my money. No thanks

We are in Bali and got tricked into thinking we won 7 nights accommodation at one of the Karma Group properties but instead had to sit through one of those “Time Share” schemes, they indicated that we are under no requirement to purchase in order to claim our price... We complied to all their requirements but didn't purchase anything. We duly received our 'Free Holiday Voucher and subsequently tried to redeem the said voucher on two separate occasions. Only to get a notification that you will be contacted regarding redeeming your prize and then NOTHING. There is no number to call to follow up. I think it is a huge scam. These places should really be taken to task for this unethical behavior.
