My Kawasaki H2 was taken for a early 5000kms service on 10 June 2022 to Bikers Warehouse in Randburg. The H2 had 4539kms and is a 2019 model. H2 went for an oil and oil filter change and was collected on the 17June 2022 and on 18 June 2022 the engine blew. I called bikers Warehouse on the20/06/2022 to Fetch H2 and give me a report. Shaun from Bikers Warehouse Informed me that there is a hole in the block apparently it is a Factory fault from Kawasaki Factory. Shaun contacted KMSA and Gavin the technical adviser informed Shaun to strip the ECU so they could see if there were any modifications done. Gavin from KMSA informed Shaun from Bikers Warehouse to strip H2 and submit a parts list as they would honour the repairs to the H2 that was late June 2022 Thereafter i receive an e-mail a month later stating that KMSA is not honouring the claim. I feel it is not fair to agree to repair and after a month to decline the repairs. I was informed by Bikers Warehouse that i am liable for the cost to strip H2. where is the logic asi did not give instructions to strip H2. I collected a stripped bike which is now not mobile and still paying my monthly installments. All the above information was informed to me by Shaun and Kerry from Bikers Warehouse. Bikers Warehouse clearly states on the e-mail that the H2 is a factory defect. I can attach e-mails from Bikers Warehouse and service book which is stamped. KMSA is not reputable

Received very poor service from kawasaki s.a . My regulator is packing in and got a confirmation from kawasaki u.s.a that there is a active on this part and i should contact the local dealer . Which i did. And almost a week later i am told sorry cant help or honour the recall because a different dealer brought the bike in and not kawasaki s.a and that its not their problem as the recal is older than 10 years which is incorrect the recal was issued 2012 and still active according to u.s.a. . Should support and recals not be global ? Wouldnt buy a kawasaki again thats for sure.

The service was super bad when i got there the guy would just walk to the back and never come back while were standing there waiting and then we paid for the part so they can order it for us and then when it arrived 3 weeks later they ordered the wrong part and then they said they will order agaim and i'f been waiting for 3 months for them to let me know what is going on and then i went to the store to ask what is going on they forgot to inform me that they can not get the part and then they dis not even want to give me a refund then i went on about the bad service and the landy had an attitude the whole time and then they gave me a refund and they did not even give me the right amount back. So stay away from that shop there is no business going on there because of the bad service and they are thiefs now i know why they have no customers. I hope they close soon!

A gear broke on my klr650 after 13000km. Bought bike brand new in October 2014. First year warranty I serviced the bike at a Kawasaki dealer. Only had to service it ones in that year and the other times at a local gay that services all the Klr in our town. That was my down fall according to Kawasaki. Never mind the gear no one ever heard of braking.!(To fix it R8000)

On 6 Jan 2016 I took my ARAI Tour cross helmet to Kawasaki Centurion to have it repaired and new inners fitted. They sent it to Bikewise which is the ARAI agents in South Africa and affiliated to Kawasaki SA. Paulo from Bikewise phoned me two weeks later and asked what I wanted done to the helmet. I had given Kawasaki a printed form with all the instructions but I again explained what I wanted done to my helmet. I asked him if the helmet was worth refurbishing and he confirmed that it was and that he would get it done soonest. I eventually got the helmet back after more than 4 months on 12 May. Problems included: No Glue in stock. We never damaged your chin rubber it had to be you or Centurion Kawasaki! (Ryan Robertson in effect calling me a liar) And the best one: “Your helmet is past its safe lifespan of 5 to 7 years” (my helmet was last manufactured in 2007. NINE YEARS ago) but they refurbished it regardless! So now I may use it as a doorstop or paperweight. Ridiculous and a complete waste of a few thousand rand and lots of mails! Thanks to Theunis and Bianca at Kawasaki Lifestyle Centurion. You guys rock!

For a whole week I called and text Mr Riaan Fourie to sell me a couple of Kawasaki GTR1400. Mr Riaan Fourie replied after my first sms that he would check and come back to me. After several more sms and two calls later Mr Fourie finally answered his call. After introducing myself (name only) he said \nee dankie\" and put the phone down. I texted him again and asked if he was refusing to sell me a bike, and he replied \"yes. if you don't like take it up with Chris\" (KMSA Managing Director). It is absolutely imposible to think that this just happened. Im still shocked at this, especially in the state our economy is as well as the depressing sales numbers of bikes in SA. "
