Recommended Auto/Electronic Mechanics
Been using KC Auto since 2013 across 3 vehicles across Golf/Mini/Landrover Main reason i go to KC Auto is honesty and integrity and being very accommodating including fitting second hand electronic spares i bring from UK. They also don't overplan/overcharge on maintenance if not required. I never recommend businesses because i do not want friends/family coming back complaining that they had issues with someone i recommended - I always carry a few KC Autos business cards to hand out.

Great to bad
Had my car service and all was well and good. Then the boot would not open anymore. Asked if I could bring it back just to have a look and when I did I was asked to leave my car there. I explained I can't do this as I have work and just want someone to have a look, maybe it is a quick fix and still told to wait with no indication as to how long. Left with a boot that still does not open.

Great to bad

Fantastic service and excellent price!
<p>Recently took my Isuzu to sort out some electrical problems. They immediately helped me out, fixed the problem while I waited, and the repair cost was much lower than expected! Friendly and efficient!</p> <p>I've since gone back for an aircon issue that I've had for a while - same thing, fast and friendly service. Cost was only a third of what another big chain car service center quoted me on for repairs.</p> <p>Very impressed, can't recommend them highly enough.</p>

<p>I would just like to share my experience with above mentioned workshop.</p> <p>They are extremely professional and helpful, The owner,Reception ladies as well as the rest of the staff eg. mechanical staff and driver.</p> <p>I have been using them for 2 major issues which were on separate occasions and both times the service were great, they keep you updated with every single thing and make sure they produce the price and duration of job when they have done all suitable diagnostics etc...</p> <p>Well done KC Auto Kenilworth,Cape Town.</p> <p> </p>

Excellent, personalized service
<p>On various occasions throughout the past few years, I have made use of KC Auto Tech's services in refilling the aircon gas in my vehicle. Their service have always been very professional and friendly. Today, while refilling my aircon gas, I enquired about a problem I have had with my radio for months. Many other electricians have been either unwilling or unable to fix the problem. However, the owner and staff of KC Auto Tech were very willing to put all their effort and expertese into addressing the problem. They were able to find and fix the problem in less than an hour. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone looking for quick and efficient service and reliable results.</p>

Good value
I had my Opel Corsa at KC Auto on monday 18/03/2016 because of a faulty oxygen sensor. I dropped my vehicle there in the morning, they dropped me at work, called me later in the day and informed they can get the part from johannesburg at a reduced cost but the vehicle would have to stay over. I agreed. They sourced the part at about a third of the price that other dealerships in Cape Town were asking. The only thing is there was no real explanation given as to why the oxygen sensor went faulty in the first place or what other problems might have caused the issue, so it is more than possible that the problem can occur again. But thus far up until today car is driving good and would definitely recommend KC Auto to anybody.
