I queried why 2 separate bills were charged for a Sunday consultant. R410 cash, and R526,30 on my medical aid. I was informed that the cash amt was for an after hrs fee for a consult done after 1pm. My daughter saw the dr at 11am?? If a practice elects to operate on a Sunday then additional fees should not be charged. I am still waiting for Debbie Proctor to provide feedback, 2 weeks later. Doesn't even bother to reply to emails?? I would appreciate urgent feedback or ill take the next step with this complaint.

They have gotten bad over the years lack of communication and unprofessional especially when the little ones are invovled no remorse or care in the world very bad service, when Dr's are running late which is a massive inconvenience, instead of letting the clients know so we don't have to rush,

After 2 weeks, calling and asking for my blood test results I still have not had any reply. Today I tried calling and it just rang for ages, got answered and was put down! I still have no results and when I do get hold of reception they just say there is a note for the doctor and they cant do more!! Shocking! In the meantime I don't know if my meds are working correctly or if they need adjusting ......

My experience with a GP at Kenilworth Medicross was completely unacceptable. Despite seeking medical help and paying substantial fees, I encountered repeated instances of misdiagnosis and inadequate care. The GPs initial diagnosis and prescribed treatment did not resolve my symptoms, which only worsened over time. Subsequent medical care elsewhere revealed a serious issue that had been missed by the GP. Despite expressing ongoing concerns and experiencing additional symptoms, the doctor failed to address them adequately. Her dismissive attitude and lack of effective action left me deeply dissatisfied and without proper medical attention. The financial strain of the medical expenses as a private patient incurred due to the GPs negligence is entirely unjustified. I strongly advise others to seek medical care elsewhere to avoid similar frustrations and inadequate treatment.

Ive been a patient for 30yrs at Kenilworth medicross , mostly on Discovery and for many years i maintained that they were the best around. Today i feel almost convulsed by the poor service, the cold treatment and money hungry business that they have become. WE have had to downscale on expenses now post covid and what do you know? KMC, Dr N Wellington & Partners, without any notice anywhere, dont accept GEMS Medical aid unless it is the very top tier - all we consulted for was the common cold.... made to pay a R650 immediately without notice and when questioned as to why? a mechanical response from the billings desk, Dr Wellington and other partners do not subscribe to GEMS Tanz, Beryl , and other plans.......wow!! how pathetic that morals and compassion have made way for snobs and money - but it wont last long, people and the world are watching and changing - morality and principles do matter MORE THAN MONEY!!!

Kenilworth Medicross has really let me down today! Our doctor took down my email address to send through a prescription that my husband desperately needed, but after an hour, it didn't come through. I went to the pharmacy anyway and asked them to call the doctor for the prescription, and waited at the pharmacy for another half hour. The prescription still didn't arrive in my inbox or with the pharmacy. Eventually, I said I would return later. At the end of the day, I called the pharmacy, but there was still no prescription. We called Medicross to complain, and the receptionist said the reason I didn't get it was because they don't email Level 5 prescriptions (??). My husband was irritated as he had been waiting the entire afternoon for this script, and now they won't send it after the doctor said he would twice (to me and the pharmacy). In response, the receptionist said, "You have an attitude, please put your wife on the phone so I can talk to her instead." Disgusting service!!
