FNB Khayelitsha branch ,i am very dissapointed with their service i must say, yesterday i went there to ask for a Stap for verification that im not banking with them regarding my son's school exemption forms. They keep me waiting for this simple thing and when i check on their screen my number shifted which is was number 46 mind you i with a baby here that is panicking I dnt know what are they busy with all i see all the consulted busy on the small machine inside moving up and down ,and one agent came to help the lady from outside that she know for photocopying it was personal things. Before i used to come there they would help me immediately checking my ID on the system that really im not banking with then and would stamp the form same time not to sit down there waith for 1 hour 1 minutes and more that what they even estimated. I left the bank with out any help😣 im disappointed

My niece went in with a burning sensation in her throat and her airway was blocked. They signed her in and told her to wait for the doctor. The doctor was a no show at some point I called and asked to speak to the security and the security said “let me cut you short I don’t want to waste your airtime we wont allow your niece to leave without the doctor attending to her and signing refusal form” I was asking them to let her go cause she is feeling better and will go to the doctor this morning but they literally held her hostage. The nurse also cut her off and said she must wait for the doctor. I asked my sister and neighbour to intervene they were met with the same nonchalant behaviour and refusal to let go of my niece yet she wasn’t being attended to. The doctor eventually came out and signed the refusal form for her now at 1:30am Abdul Gabriels is the name of the doctor. Guys I don’t understand how you can hold a person that isn’t admitted hostage while still not medical attending to them.

Had an awful experience with Dr. Deodotus “I think” at Khayelitsha Hospital today. My Sister had “stinging pains on her stomach and chest that prohibited her to breathe” so we rushed into Khayelitsha. To cut the long story short, we got there, they gave her a Panado and said to wait for the Doctor who arrived at 07:10. After waiting for 5 hours, the Doctor said he doesn’t see anything and did not even give her a Sicknote for work because he thought she is eligible to work, let alone suggesting Medication for the pains she’s feeling. He just discharged her, with no help necessarily, no change in her situation. Did I mention that this pain was making her struggle to breathe? That situation has not changed even now, waste of time, waste of a Doctor

Taking this opportunity to give a big thumbs up to the staff an hospital board of Khayalitsha Hospital. On two occasions I had great experience of thst hospital. One in the Emergency Trauma Unit and the other in their Wards. Have to say, their staff is disiplined workaholics respectful and with the patientd is just unbelievsble in all my years at almost 70 and I have been to most hospitals the units and wards disgrace their staff snd the state their units and wards are in. The peace that succoms all understanding at Khayalitsha Hospital Emergency Unit and Wards is of the most best in all I mean all Provincial Hospitals country wide. The way the staff treat all patiets with respect snd dignity amazing, the care they give beyond expetation they truly live the word that they have pledge that they will serve their community with dignity and pride. Hope someone will see this and forward it to them. I have promised them that I will do this as I was amazed with their service love and care. Their respect their disipline, the way they work snd speak to their patients, unbelievable. The cleanliness of the Hospitals the wards their Units no smells nothing it is amazing. I honestly feel the staff of Khayalitsha Hospital deserve an Award for outstanding work well done and all the love, care, respect and more towards their patients and doing it honestly with a smile, greet people with smiles speak with smile, no rudeness and ugliness and grumpiness. THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL...YOU ARE CALLED ORDAINED AND CHOSEN I BIG THUMBS UP TO YOU ALL LOVE YOU ALL

I've been here since Friday, waiting for a social worker! Today is Wednesday, I'm still waiting. All they tell me is that the social worker is busy. How is that my business? Now I can't go to work, I can't study for exams, I'm stuck here!

This is my second visit for the same issue, they keep on postponing. Please assist , around May I came for birth control removal (IUCD) the Dr that was helping me mistakenly took it off wrong. Piece of it was taken out and another piece is still left inside, they booked me for an appointment in August( they told me not to eat or drink water before the surgery) after 24 hrs of not eating and drinking they came back to me to tell me that my appointment has been postponed to 8th on Oct. I was admitted yesterday, I haven’t eaten since 10pm last night and there’s no communication. And as far as I know they will just come and tell me that I’ll be postponed as if it’s nice to come and sleep in hospital without eating and drinking as someone who is on chronic treatment. Please intervene.

On July 8, 2024, I visited the clinic to collect my medication, but was shocked by the rude behavior of the reception staff. An older male staff member, wearing a red top and black hat, spoke to me in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner, telling me to 'come back tomorrow' without even looking at me. He was too busy on his phone to care about my needs. This isn't my first bad experience with this staff member, and I've consistently encountered rude and unprofessional behavior from the nursing staff. As a patient, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect. It's unacceptable for healthcare professionals to behave this way. I hope someone takes notice and takes action to address these issues. Rating: 1/5 stars

My Kid is been there for whole week, for a boil, the 6 month Baby is been attended for blood, I think on that day of arrival then they promised an ultrasound check to be done on day 2 (next day), until now that never happened and attendeding Doctor never came to my Baby again. Other parents and Kids where there also complaining but they don't know where and how to raise their complaints, they have been there from last week. From the time I had received a call when I was at work, I had made means to go and see and observe my Baby, all securities that where there hold me and prevented me to go to my Baby. Everything there is not online. It's not the first time I had experienced a lot on that KHD hospital in different patients and even during the Babies birth, including time I tooked my Sisters to that hospital, I wish government can visit, in private and see all the nature of KHD hospital. Thank you.
